The haven is my personal chat thread, but I hope it will be as much of a home to you as it is to me. It does have some RP elements, for it is based on something I occasionally saw when in the best of moods.
Most of the area is forest land, but not all of it. The animals here live in harmony, and there are nature spirits aplenty. There are some things about it I reveal as we go along, but I have left it open for others to be a part of it too. Feel free to discuss spots you might find in this wonderful haven of mine.
Want a role you think such a place would have? Just ask. Come just to talk? That's fine too. You are welcome here. Because of it's theme, I will often post inspiring music, and there will be pics a' plenty showing the beauty of both the earth itself, and the imagination of the human mind. I encourage others to follow suit if they wish.
We all have our rough days, and I'm okay with that, but as this is a haven, I do have one rule. Be kind to one another here. :)

[size=13]Due to Ryuu using magic to change the weather while there was a playful nature to the haven, the fairies are using that spell to express their playfulness.. snow may disappear randomly while you are playing with it, or may even turn strange colors![/h][/color]

[size=13]There are many paths in life that one can travel, some cause strain, others joy.. some can only be called for what they are, a mystery.. but these, these are the most fun.
Your travels have brought you to a strange path.
You know not how you got here, nor where you are.
Off in the distance you see a forest. Something about it seems to call out to you, beacons you to leave this odd trail you're following, and feeling eased, you find yourself obeying.

Plus Ive been meaning to ask this, but what are the principles/basics of meditation? Im asking since "Master of the Haven" sounds slightly guru-ish and I am seeking enlightenment.

They reside on the upper areas, where the moutains poke slightly out of the forest below. Watch your step, and be warned. They aren't many, so they can be hard to find.

The unicorns guide the animals in this forest, and usually stay out of sight, but if it's peaceful enough, you may see some. They are often found around some of the pools and streams in this area. Your best bet is wait until dusk, though you may get to see one during the day if you're lucky.
As for meditation, remind me and I'll post some links. :)
It's a healthy habit to get into.

If your just starting off, sometimes it's hard to focus the mind. Don't fret, practice helps. And if your mind drifts, just gently guide it back. No need to force things.

I know there are many lately, so perhaps it's poor timing on my part. I actually considered this before making this thread, but in the end, there were a couple of users who felt it was still a good idea, and as I do post in most of the front page threads, I can sometimes push threads almost by myself.
That's a lot of thread hoping and I figured in the end maybe a personal page wasn't such a bad idea after all. Besides, a new thread could add activity, and if it doesn't, well the people of fakku will decide that. I hope my thread is a fun place to be, but that's up to others in the end. I can post here daily, but if no one shows interest, it'll get pushed down the list pretty quickly.
Anyway, thanks much for adding to the list Desu, and also thanks once again for making it in the first place!

lol, surprisingly not true, there are just more rare.
While the forest itself is the haven, much can be found.
There is a small village on the outskirts of this forest, actually somewhat nestled in a dip in the forest itself. While my influence does not extend that far, I can see it's a quaint place, with respectable people that stay out of here. Perhaps they can not see this place. However, I can only assume that one such person may have been the cause of the few buildings found here so far.
I am fond of one of the clearings I found for example, because it has a cabin of sorts, with a hammock and fishing poles. It's been there since before this place chose me as it's care taker. I often wonder if someone else once lived here, for it certain seems this way, and it makes me think perhaps I was not the first chosen by this forest.
There may be other such places here. I know not. This place is large, and mostly still unexplored.

You should post daily weather forecast here it would add some realism plus i would prefer plenty of rainy conditions thunderstorms too those are nice to watch
