But i like to know what other people meaning about this matter. Is my "love" to loli hurting children ? (and no i am not a spooky guy hiding in a bush) And what will happen to the loli commuty when there "fapping" material getting illegal?

Very few readers of lolicon manga commit crimes. In the otaku culture, lolicon is the "most convenient [form of rebellion]" against society.This guy is a cultural critic.
I agree with him. So if they actually dared to ban loli...I see more children actually getting molested....
It's weird tho'. Why the hell they need to ban any form of fetishes in Japan, when the country is one of the countries with lowest sexual crime rates? I believe the low rate is because of the abundance of sex material available there...that tend to almost every fetish available. So when you take out the lil' pleasure in their everyday life....I see more rapes coming.
As for me...it would seriously suck to see the ban implemented...I'll fight against it to the extent of my power...not that much, tho'. My loli collections should keep me going for a while...

I'm not worried about a ban on loli specifically as I'm not into it. What worries me is the potential strangle on doujin, as most anime characters are under 18, making them minors (even if they look like 20y/o's), that's what has me worried.

If I recall correctly, it was once banned in America by George Bush Jr, the Supreme Court unbanned it, due to the censoring of art being unconstitutional. But I agree with what mibuchiha said about more children possibly being molested after a ban, it would be like taking nicotine patches away from a smoker, then they will start smoking. Take away a lolicon's loli, they start... well you know.

It doesn't matter. They won't succeed in causing a demise of the lolicon industry, even if they force it underground. There is so little point in trying, hopefully they'll eventually just give up.

Here is one of those quotes I found on the various blog sites covering the recent ban on rape eroge and possibly loli as well as non-human characters. I guess it holds a certain extent of truth.anonymous wrote...
When the Nazis came for the communists,I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
Then they locked up the social democrats,

I was not a social democrat.
Then they came for the trade unionists,

I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
I did not speak out;
I was not a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out for me.

I would think the best thing we can do for now is to raise awareness among the community.
Let's see how this strikes you...
Honestly to me, it's not about whether my personal tastes are being disturbed is the main issue here. It's about some people who tried to get in the way of another private pleasures, which do no one any harm. That violates our freedom of speech/thought etc. So they can violate anyone's right under the pretext of preventing future crimes? I don't think so...because that in a way assumes that people will commit crime. If they wanna go with that assumption...why not just ban driving, to prevent people from deliberately killing others using cars, or because cars help to transport criminals? Far-fetched, I know, but they fall under the same thing, I think.
Edit: @Tsurayu: I'm not as optimistic as you but...let's hope they do really give up. Well, I find it hard because...you know, as in Philippines, those who do the banning don't even know about what they are banning, and the same goes with those who support them...and sadly that consists of majority of the (foolish, imo)public. But yeah, sure hope they will give up in banning things, anything, as long as it promises no direct victims.

Then i don't understand all wining about banning loli ore other hentai stuff. Because most of the supporters of banning lolis sound like angry mothers that want to protect there children. The normal quote to banning lolis is to protect the children angst crazy dudes in the bush.

those countries could have high child molestation rates and thus they banned loli to prevent others get influenced by taking advantage of young girls (or boys). It's a desperate decision to come up with just to abolish child rape or anything loli related cases...
those are the closest reason I can think of as to why they banned it... to some it may be a way to reduce such crimes but to others it's just a troublesome proclamation than a helpful law.

Well we still have some time i mean the diet pushed it back 3 years before they decide on any lolicon laws. The Japanese porn industry is prity power full. I mean the usa porn industry sure helped us back in the day when this was first chalnged in the states. Hopefully it will work out the same way...

First lolicon then hentai in general under the guise that they "look" underage when the represented character is said to be over the proper age. This is how censorship works, not by wildly hacking at the material but, slow and surgical cuts. First they take away what everybody dislikes then they take away what most people dislike,etc,etc all the way until only that which everybody agrees can be shown.
These sorts of things are always the first stepping stone to larger censorship.
As others have said before:

I can't believe people didn't know this. All of my lolicon Collections are clearly labled "Do not bring to Canada" and even my non lolicon friends know what's going on there. But seriously I've missed out on a lot of trips to Canada , as I goto school in up state NY, very close to Canada. I'm just not willing to go there for some trip and then get labled as a paedophile for no good reason. Maby I'm just paranoid but the thought scares me.
One time a kid I had as a lab partner jokingly joked that I was a paedophile upon ethering my dorm room then quickly deduced that I was in fact a lolicon after he made some quote from alice in wonder land and I immediately finished the whole poem (was jabberwocky, not uncommon to know but still added to the kodomo no jikan figures and many loli posters) then he looked at my book shelf and found Lolita, then proclaimed that I was a lolicon, looked me in the eye, and sternly warned me not to go to Canada.
I also have a lolicon friend originally from the Philippines. That was some sad times. Luckily he moved to the states.

Ye seems like we've been breaking the law the entire time Klown... To the Sherwood forest!
But seriously, I havn't even heard about anything even related to a law like that. Though I guess that it's because all anime / hentai related matters in Sweden is basically thrown aside since there's so few people actually involved in it.

Did you know Lewis Carroll(writer of Alice in Wonderland) was a pedophile?
Sorry for my irrevelant info. No way in hell though will they be able to ban lolicon. The Interwebz are more powerful than the law.
