How well has the waifu game been run?

It's almost time for the second reset and someone suggested to me that I hand the game over to someone else. I don't really plan on doing so any time soon but it did lead me to wonder what people think of how the game has been run. I've had to adapt and add new rules to avoid exploitation; have those new rules been positive or negative in your opinion? I however will not turn this game over due to the results of this poll; I just want to know where it lies in your hearts and minds.

I'm going to make this a poll so no one has to give their honest opinion but feel free to comment about anything waifu game related. I will vote for DNC so I can track the results without logging out.

this thread isn't meant to dig up old wounds, please avoid specific waifu comments.

I don't really think it matters too much. It's a game that requires someone to invest their time, but it doesn't really need anyone's specific charm or abilities. Basically, anyone who has a lot of free time is capable of handling it. Hope, that didn't come off bad.

I only suggest you give fix dates in resets and change rounds.

I suggest it stays in the hands of the person who created it.

You're doing good, no problems with the rules and "moderation"

I think you've done fine. Don't particularly like the idea of losing my beloved waifus in the reset, but otherwise I see no problems with how it's been run. While I do like the occasional restart to weed out inactive users, I don't want the active ones to be forced to give up theirs.

I'm going to have an amended rules list this time... so as to avoid more confusion... this time if anyone commits a party foul it will be on their lack of reading.

oh and please don't vote based on whether you want a reset or not, we need a catalyst for excitement... far too many of us (myself included) are sitting on allstar teams and I think some of the new users would like a shot at some bigger names. We've had these girls for 8+ months now, we can afford to share.

BTW, add a rule about "Do Not discuss your waifus in this thread"

I have to say the waifu game is really good and I enjoyed it. The addition of rules is a plus since it adds some challenges into the game and provides some control in the way it is played which also addresses some of the problems and issues early when the game just started. Also you did a good job in monitoring the discussion in the thread and reminding people not to derail, turning into some chat thread and arguing with each other.

So far so good, but that incident with Prowl and StrayDog really was stupid and went on too long. Glad theres a rule for that.

I don't believe any changes added to the game have ever had a negative effect and most of the problems originate from underage/childish participants as Kaimax already mentioned. So yeah, you're doing commendably good considering how long this thing has been running.

You intend on making any changes/adjustments for v3 (reset aside) ? I was thinking about a couple of things recently ...

Sorry for being an idiot but How does reclaiming waifu works?

Like example you have 3 waifu that you can reclaim

but i got one of your waifu first.

so i mean i can keep it even you have reclaim privilages?

Now that i think of it, i hope there will be a period of when the existing waifu owners will have to state 2-3 of their own waifus to claim it, people who failed to state will automatically lose it?
After that will the real claiming game starts?
