Death Metal

Hai2udere, yea I've heard of Children of Bodom and In Flames, I have a taste of basically all types of music except for rap. Try Meshuggah.

i'm surprised to see people that listen to death metal here. when it comes to death metal, cannibal corpse is the first on my list

I'm not a huge fan of death metal, but from time to time I'll listen to it. This girl I was kind of seeing in high school kind of got me into it. There are some songs from Children of Bodom, Deicide, Devildriver, In Flames, Napalm Death, Sepultura, Shadows Fall, Soilwork and some other bands that are pretty good. Cannibal Corpse is kind of an obvious one, I even went so far as to buy Live Cannibalism.

Cannibal Corpse, Deicide and The Berzerker have always been my favs. Though, I've never had really one metal preference. I enjoy pretty much all the sub-genres...except nu-metal of course.

I also like Deicide, and The Berzerker although I prefer their fist two albums. Live Cannibalism is one great DVD. I remember watching it several times a week before.

There's a little bit of nu-metal that's alright.

I actually like all types of metal but I haven't listened to death-metal in a while. I'm more into Power-Metal and Prog-Metal.

[size=12] I went to DevilDriver's Bound by the Road tour when it stopped in Fayetteville, NC and it ROCKED!!!! Of course I went mainly for DevilDriver, but I did like the other acts that were on tour with them. I wanted to check out Walls of Jerhico since I knew a guy that knows them well, but there weren't on the tour so I got to check out Straight Line Stitch instead. I didn't know that Napalm Death had been around since I was 3!!! That's wicked! If it's near you guys,you should go check out this tour.[/h]

i don't listen to death metal that much but i try to appreciate all types of music(except country). But i like dethklok, not really sure if they would be death metal but they are good. And have a funny show.

Pure Death metal. I like Skyfire.

But mostly i'm more into melodic death metal and progressive death metal like: Opeth, Dark Tranquility, Insomnium and Amon Amarth.

Death Metal? The most brutal, blackest, violent sub-genre of metal?

Fuck yes.

The best IMO? Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, White Chapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Vader, and Arsis.

For death metal.
My fav band are In Flames and Heaven Shall Burn. I just cannot find any other band that is even near this level of awesomeness. especially their lyrics are unrivaled.

the newest album of in flames is just orgasmic. iconoclast (newest heaven shall burn) surely is not as good as the previous ones but still has some awesome songs.
