A classic otaku passtime, collecting figurines. I'll put mine in here slowly when I find the time. I did take a picture of my most recent additions for IRC though.

PS: May I request that everyone thumbnail their pictures? Two reasons: Load time for dial-up users and less CPU stress on FAKKUs servers, as they have to re-size the huge images. Cheers.

Mobile Suit XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe H

Oh yeah there is a Ferrari Enzo and F430 parked next to him, and just behind his beam scythe you can see a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R.

There are a couple of other cars floating around the desk as well, like the F1 Ferrari in front of the Enzo, and there is a Nissan Sileighty and a Datsun 240Z sitting on top on my 10/100 Switch. There is also a collection of Subaru Impreza's in my bedroom, and a couple of model cars from the anime Initial D.

I have a lot of Pokemon and DBZ figures from back when I was younger. I don't really have the money or space to start up a collection, besides things tend to get really messed up in my house.

I've already decided that one day, if I have an insane amount of money to blow, I'm going to buy hundreds of action figures and set up some kind of massive battle scene. I'll have characters from video games, anime, and all types of shit going at it. Of course I'll have to do some damage to some of them, but that's why I want to wait until I have enough money to spare.

There are a few figures I want. I saw an Sonsaku Hakufu figure that has soft breasts. I just want it because its so pervertedly odd.

Obviously I'm interested in collecting all the Kanu figures, but this one is one of the coolest. Not just because of the pose, but I really like the detail put into it and from reviews I read, its of really high quality. I've heard that it was some kind of limited edition, although I might be thinking of a different one.

I'd be too embarrassed to have something that perverted in my room, lol. Not a full blown otaku yet, i suppose XD.

Yeah, I kind of know what you mean, but my friends have always known me to be kind of eccentric and... well... unique, to say the least. For a guy that used to walk around with butterfly and flower hairclips and clothes pins in his hair at school, I would imagine perverted anime figures wouldn't be all that odd.

There is 1/100 Freedom Gundam in my collection as well as other small figurines, such as those randomly packed into sealed up boxes. Unfortunately, I don't have any photographs or images of them.

Gambler, how do you arrange your backgrounds so that the horizon line blends with the vertical? I try to do the same kind of shot with my 3d renders, but I don't know how to arrange the background.

I am not very good at photography either. Some of the images I posted are the taken from websites, where I own the exact same figurines. Perhaps placing the figurine in front of an empty background would help?
