Fried squid with Fried green tomatoes, red tomato and homemade salt cheese and a lemon cream dipping sauce.

Receipe
Spoiler:

Cut the squid into rings
in a bowl mix
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs.. i use japanese panko.
put the squid into the mix
dredge it ( full coat)
put in it 375f oil and fried for 2 mins

Cut green tomatoes into 1/2 inch slices and dredge them in the mix or mix 1/2 cup of flour and corn meal.
fried until gloden brown

Slice on red ripe tomato
in a bowl with three teaspoon of olive oil or salad oil.
clove of garlic and some basil
3 oz of cheese. Mozzarella or goat cheese.
mix and serve.

sauce
Two spoons of sour cream
half a lemon
dash of hot sauce and soy sauce
garlic and thyme
mix and serve



Also that a slurpee in the left bottom of the name card.. just saying. 7-11

To be honest, if you didnt tell me what it was and I just saw the final product, I would have no idea what it was - though that may be a sign of my inexperience....

Well it looks tasty in any case.

And it took me a while to get that slurpee thing, but when I did, I lol'ed

oh nomnomnom I just love calamari, but I'm sooooo not allowed to eat deep fried stuff :(

You can also pan-fry it pretty lightly. Even without the fish fry batter or breadcrumbs, it can go on salads. :)

Yeah the coating most crumble apart in the pan since i don't have a real fryer and didn't wanta make a batter since my carb ration for that day was low. A flour coating or soy flour is better and a pan fry with olive oil if your worry about fat.

I usually pan_fry shrimps and put them on salad....I totally forgot about calamari..must buy some mhmmm
