I actually like it a lot. Very nice and cute.
Some criticism I might add however, for improvement:
1. The proportions are a bit off, noticeably for the arms. Normally arms should be a bit longer than that; especially in the first picture.
2. Shadows and highlights are important, especially on colored characters. Set a imaginary light source and darken the underparts, and highlight the areas facing the light. Especially on the face; shadowing the areas under the bangs, shadowing the chin and neck would really bring out the face.
That's about it really. The characters look a bit flat (especially on the face), but with touch-up, I think it'll look even more fantastic. One thing I'm really impressed about is the eyes. IMO it's the hardest part to draw (if you look at bad artworks, it's usually the eyes that ruin it) but yours look really alive and moe. Kudos to you.

Agreed :>
And, hey Ammy, I've been thinking about making a Momoka shortstory-compilation-doujin. I want to draw some chapters, but I would appreciate other artists to join aswell with artworks, own chapters, 4step comics or whatever. If you'd like, here is a thread I opened:

I agree with you that some of them are flat because that's a problem I've been having for a while now. But mainly, It really comes down to the line art in my opinion. You can shade the the hell out of something and make it look awesome, but if the original line art isn't that great then there's only so much you can do. For instance some drawings are good enough that they can look amazing in just a sketch form with no colors. My drawing rely too much on coloring to try and make them look better, which is one of the many things I need to fix. And thanks glad you like the eyes.

little tip: Use 3 colors each for shadows and skin tone. It'll make your character 'pop-out' and wouldn't be so flat anymore :-D

One thing I noticed about your shading is that you have the basic shadows, but you dont give usually color shadows under stuff like hair, arms. Like the girl in my quote, she should have a shadow on her body, under her left arm. But stuff like that is quite easy to forget really.

Yeah for that one in particular I kinda rushed a little bit but I do see what you mean. I've always been a little weak at shading. I'm working another drawing right now so I'll post it up here when I'm done

Alright, there's more art to be posted. It's been a while and I'd like to think these new ones are a little better then my previous drawings. That being said, here they are.

I really like your art :)
Though their bodies seem a bit awkward. My suggestion is to look at a lot of stock images or portraits and really study their forms. You have to be careful with the center of balance and posture. They're very cute drawings, they just look a bit unnatural..

Don't worry about it and yeah body shape and form is something I always struggle with. I don't know, I just can't seem to get it to look right. My drawing always tend to be... flat.

You could study the body or create something very original and stylized..or both! :D

That sounds good but it's easier said then done.
