[General] What anime got you into anime???

The first anime I watched was Saber Marrionette, but what really got me watching more was Haruhi Suzumiya

The anime sequence from the game Xenogears. An old name on PSX.

for starter Doraemon then pokemon then dragon ball then sailormoon then gundam seed and then that cartoon called anime after that i started my otaku way of life.....

sekirei got me into anime.
although the first I watched online was elemental gelade.
I dont count the anime on tv though.

Some oldass anime I saw in my childhood which I don't even remember the name to. It was some 90's one with a girl on a crucifix in the OP.

Though my first anime which I saw in my late teens that actually got me into watching thereon would be Samurai Champloo.

DNAngel was my first and got me hooked forever.

I think it was DBZ, but G Gundam was a massive influence. Pokemon too if that counts.

I watched DBZ as a kid and that introduced me to anime as a whole but it wasn't until I started watching DeathNote that I became a total otaku, now I can't stop XD I find myself finishing some anime series withing a day or two and the longer ones within a week or two XD it's a total addiction for me

Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk got me into Manga, Sailor Moon and Escaflowne got me into Anime. Funny thing is, I've been watching Mazinger Z and Astro Boy as a kid via foreign tapes and didn't even realize it was Anime back then.

Well, I'd have to say Voltron, Speed Racer or Robotech got me started... It's hard to say which came first really.

What really punched my fandom into high gear was when Toonami started bringing in Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing.

The first ever anime that really got me interested in anime.
The others like Dragonball, and Sailor Moon never got me that interested. Even though I've been watching it since ELEMENTARY

It was Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and Tenchi Muyo. When I was young I lost interest in Anime and completely forgot about it. When I was about 12 or 13 my sister got me back into Anime by introducing me to the .Hack series.

Technically, Pokemon. My first experience with anime as child. But Yu Yu Hakusho is what made me love anime.

DBZ is what really got me into anime, watched some naruto, then got plain sick of it after just one season... But Favourites by far are, TTGL, Eureka 7, and NGE
