Seitokai Yakuindomo - 8.5/10
This anime is so wrong in a good way. There's too many sex jokes in this anime, yet most jokes are funny. It feels a little bit different when the girls are the ones that are doing the dirty talking. There are moments when the characters became serious, and then the joke kills it. The OP and ED are nice. I like the ending credits of the last episode, still trying to find the soundtrack of it. I should watch the OVA's. Also, I wish for a season 2.

Sword Art Online - started with a 9/10 in the SAO segment. Then the ALO happened, and it slipped to 6.5/10 for me.

I just finished watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann D;

10/10.. I love this anime so much, it had so many good points, sad points, angry points.. soo many feels. I cried to quite a few parts, mostly near the end.
The animation was amazing, the story line was beautiful, they did get a LITTLE out-of-hands-crazy in the end with the final battle and all, but it was still fantastic!
One of the first main deaths though was WAYYYY to early.. just way to early.

But all in all, fantastic anime, I do recommend to all!

05/20;
Just finished Escaflowne, ;__; uhm I'd say 8/10.

It was good, I adored it, the storyline was quite interesting. It was kind of sad though, and I definitely did not enjoy the way it ended, it was happy and all, but it was another one of those "Oh I finally realized I'm in love with you" and he was like "<33 yay I love you too" and then bam "Oh, yay we love each other, but I'ma send you home now" .. urgh I don't see the sense in ending with love, but parting them :/. All in all though, it was exciting ^^

Sorry for the spoilers D:

[size=14]I watched the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya last friday and I have to say my respect for this series went through the roof. At times it was a funny as the original run of the The melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya but it was so much more serious. I loved Kyon's monologues and it was great to see Yuki in a more pivotal role. One thing I have to say though is that the whole situation seemed a little over-blown once you find out exactly why the things that happen, happen, but that doesn't really detract from it as a whole. A great movie that really puts the interesting characters that were developed in the series to good use.

10/10

There are so many OVAs it feels like you're watching a second season.
So far, there are 5 OVAs available for download. Pretty sure more are coming soon.

School Days- 4/10

I was bored getting through it. The main character is such a cunt. The ending though, haha, bittersweet ending for me. Nice boat.

THE iDOLM@STER - 8/10 Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought it would. Guess I needed a good slice of life.

ChäoS;HEAd - 6/10 It was interesting in the wtf-sense for the first few episodes...then the plot came around and it became generic

Sakamichi no Apollon - 9/10 Man...this was great. Just, fabulous. Great music, good story, great characters.

Toaru Majutsu no Index (season 1) - 9/10 At first I was like :D then I was like :DDDD (or something?) It got better as I watched. It got better as Misaka Mikoto got more screen time. Really looking forward to watching second season and then Railgun.

I think that's all I've watched since last post.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo - 4/10

Frankly, in comparison to the first two movies (and even the TV series itself) I did not find this enjoyable to watch. Most of the time, I was asking myself "What just happened?" "Why did this happened?" and in the words of Shinji, "What the heck is going on?!"

Visual effects however were stunning and the music score wasn't that bad. The characters... meh; Shinji reverts to... his old (anime) self I guess, Asuka has a cat-hat and eyepatch, Katsuragi becomes a Capt. or Colonel, Gendo gets new glasses, Ayanami just didn't click with me like her prior incarnations(?), and what was the point of Mari? The best character imo was Kaworu.

In an attempt to be spoiler-free, while setting up the sequel nicely the lack of resolution at the end wasn't that great.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse - 7.5/10

I really like the mech designs, and how they're named after modern fighter aircraft. For the most part, it's a good show, just that the last arc didn't sit too well with me, and the ending wasn't great either. Plus, romance hinted throughout, yet no closure on that front, not good. Now I just gotta find the VN.

PS. Watch the BDs if you can, censors really do spoil it a bit, more so on episode 17.

There was a light novel series of TE somewhere, but no VN - unless you are talking about the Muv-Luv Trilogy.

I was, but then according to vndb, there's a ps3 and x360 version.

Re-watching Jormungand. I'd rate it 8/10. It's not really something you could call fantasy. After all, we could relate it to what currently is happening in real life. I also like the CG, it's quite similar to what they offer in the manga.

I'm on a mecha roll.

Aquarion EVOL - 9/10

You need different mindsets to watch different anime, and for this one, you're gonna need to take an easy-going, light-hearted approach. It's a show that doesn't take itself too seriously, which is a good thing. Over the top action, countless sexual innuendos, and one of the best OSTs ever. I kinda understand why most people don't like this series, but I just can't help but love every single quirky thing they do.

Honestly, I loved it, and would have given it a 10/10, but I jumped into this one without watching the prequel, so kinda felt a bit lost at times. That said, I'm definitely gonna watch it, then come back and watch EVOL again. Also, I think the ending ultimately felt a bit rushed. Here's hoping for another season, or even a few OVAs.

I just finished the first season of Strike Witches. I won't give it a score but I will say that I really enjoyed it. I love how all the girls didn't wear pants. I'll start season 2 once it's done downloading.

Just finished watching Strike Witches 2 and Strike Witches Gekijouban. Very great series overall. The last episode of season 2 left me smiling at the end. It looks like we're getting a season 3 or something because the movie had "to be continued" after the credits.

spoilers - don't open unless you've watched everything including the movie
Spoiler:
It kind of sucks that Sakamoto lost her magic. She was so badass in season 2 with Reppumaru and all. Also, that drunken kiss on Minna was very nice. I'm glad Yoshika got her magic back. I wanted a yuri sex scene with her and Lynette. Hell, I wanted all the couples to have yuri sex scenes. Hartmann also deserves a mention for being awesome as fuck.

[size=14]Just finished watching FLCL and I still don't understand a fucking thing about it. It was the weirdest anime I've seen and yet one of the best. Naota was a badass protagonist and pretty much everyone else in it was badass too. The art was awesome, so was the animation and so were the Nori eyebrows. It's got robots and aliens (probably, it's never really explained) beating the shit out of each other with guitars, what's not to like? I'll tell you what, that damn ending. No closure, badass protag goes back to normal and shit's treated like it never happened.

All in all though I love this anime but I want some damn closure and some more Nori eyebrows but those are my only complaints. 10/10

Edit: after Ryssen explained some stuff to me I understand it better and don't need closure. Still 10/10 though.

Sora no Woto

This anime was excellent. All of the characters were likeable and every episode was very enjoyable. The opening and ending songs were great as well. I get the feeling that this anime is a little underrated. It's good, watch it.

Spoiler:
  • The main girl, Kanata, was really cute.

  • I want her to sit on my face and pee on my chest.

  • I wish this anime had more doujins. Exhentai only had a few and none of them were that great. Gelbooru didn't have many pictures either.

[size=14]I finished watching Sakamichi no Apollon on saturday and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The romance was very well done and story kept me interested. The remarkable thing about this anime isn't the story though, it's the OST and the concept. Never have I seen an anime with a Jazz OST with the basic premise for the story being one of Jazz. I can only say that this anime was a little slice of genius with touching moments and some good laughs, anyone who hasn't seen it should.

10/10

echoeagle3 Oppai Overlord
last anime I finished was Soul Eater. I liked it, but I got to read the manga cuz it seems the story for the manga goes differently. 8/10
