Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

8/10 It's pretty fucking funny.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun- Mediocre romance with a FEW HARDHEADED TEENAGERS. I would've liked it more if each relationship was taken into a much more serious consideration, otherwise it's just a bunch of friends screwing around everywhere they go. I do understand that the manga's is still ongoing so the future might hold a second season? The character are quite hard-headed yet honest to their motives/feelings which sets it off from most typical romance of beating-around-the-bush types or working-on-it types as well. Several comedy skits gave a chuckle or two but it's really focused on the characters and I was charmed by that take onto this vast world of romance.

I give this a 7.5 for comedy romantic catergory.

Haibane Renmei 8/10

I love the music and creativity. They really went their way to create a new world with angels. Another good thing was the character development. I felt like Rakka and Reki had a character and the psychological elements only build it up even further. The story wasn't to me compelling. It was sweet and all but that was about it. It was very enjoyable and I could see myself re-watching it at some point.

Broken Blade (or Break Blade) - 6.5/10

For me, I preferred the manga version but the anime adaptation was alright. The music wasn't bad, but wasn't exactly memorable either, while the art I felt was the same. However, I did like the story and its straightforwardness - but it did feel at times to drag on for too long and such. The combat was good, without going over the top in ridiculousness, and the final boss battle was a pleasure to watch.

But again, the anime cuts the story short so that if you were looking for (more) drama and/or romance, then it's not the anime you want to watch.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
I really enjoyed this anime. Erio, Ryuuko, Meme, and Yashiro all made mah penis hard. Best girls were Erio and Ryuuko. The art in this anime was excellent as well. Especially the eyes. Them motherfucking eyes.

*I don't give number score because fuck number scores. I have a hard time rating things.

Tekkon Kinkreet 8/10

The camera angles were great and so was the music. The story was a little too obscure for me. But it wasn't bad in any way. The action scenes were also pretty cool.

Mobile Suit Gundam - Movies (Trilogy) - 6/10

It was... interesting, to say the least. Not bad though, though I did tend to get bored of certain sections.

5 Centimeters Per Second - 10/10

A beautifully sad love story, with a very realistic and practical end.

Kotonoha no Niwa/ Garden of Words 10/10

As usual Makoto Shinkai produces a film with high definition animation, serene music, and a great story.

I made quite an achievement when I'm able to finish up a few animes this week. Anywho,

Nisemonogatari - 9.5/10
In most moments while I was watching the whole series in one go, I never felt bored (partly because I was watching it with Ryssen). Just like its prequel, the background arts are simply colourful. Some of the dialogues were meaningful. Normally, I would cringe at the sight of unwanted fanservice. Though, I can't explain why I didn't complain about this one. I think no matter how many times I re-watch this whole series, I won't get bored of it to be honest. With that done, I'm ready anytime for Monogatari 2nd season to come.

Hanasaku Iroha - 8.5/10
It was sort of difficult to continue watching this series because there wasn't enough drive for me to continue it. I could've dropped it but in the end, I decided to finish it today because I need to clear it off my list with a feeling of completion. Teenage dramas happened in this anime, but in moderation. The key point of this show is about the inn and the people working within it. The show did start off well and it was enjoyable. Then some of the episodes in the middle part of the series seem like your average SoL episode with the difference of those simple moments happening within and sometimes outside of the inn. It was the last episodes of the series that actually reignited my interest in this anime.

Hellsing Ultimate - 8/10

Epd 7 is one of the most bad ass epds EVER in an anime.

Psycho-Pass 9/10

It's been a good long while since I've marathoned a really great anime. And I mean REALLY great series. As expected from Gen Urobuchi. I'm so glad that I got to finish this series before summer school started and that I saved the best for last. Everything about it was magnificent. The action scenes, the philosophical references, the awesome music. This also takes me back to a time where I was obsessed with Cantonese police TV dramas when I was a kid, where there's unexpected death counts, police drama (kinda?), and of course the pew-pew actions.

I personally enjoyed this anime for various minor reasons like the voice of Hanazawa Kana (Jesus, someone beat the shit out of me <3).

Other minor things, I wonder if women would find Kogami to be hotter than those ridiculously bishie boys from Free! (Yes, I went there.) And...
Spoiler:
YAYOI WAS A FUCKING LESBIAN?! HOW....WAI--WHAT?!

Did you watch both seasons and Roberta's Blood trail or just the first?

OT: A couple weeks ago now, I watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica but refrained from posting in this thread to avoid the whole "I just finished this anime and it was really great thing" that I noticed I do. I wanted to look at it objectively because I've heard so many mixed opinions about the anime. Essentially it's a sound anime with decent action and story. The real problem with it is how amazingly depressing it is. I struggle to think of any moments in the anime where I wasn't incredibly depressed and lamenting the actions of the characters. Even the ending is depressing to an extent. You can also tell that this anime tries too hard to be depressing and be different from other magical girl anime which is why I feel some of it was lost on me. To be fair to the anime it was and incredible visual treat and the story was coherent and made you want to finish the series. Despite the depression and the try hard nature of this anime it's definitely worth a watch. 8/10

The second season is a bit worse than the first imo, but Roberta's Blood Trail blows them out of the water. Anyway, enjoy. It's one of my favourite anime.

Blood-C - 4/10

Maybe it's because I watched Blood+, but to me this series was really lacking in comparison. While I admit the visual and sound were nice, it seemed to me bland; (airhead) student by day, mysterious monster-killer by night. Other than that, well, nothing really interests me, drawing me in to watch the next episode and so on. Maybe it's just me - I'll go watch Blood+ again though.
