They are my Noble Masters

Based off another eroge game, some call it Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de.

Uesugi Ren, running away from home with his elder sister, Hato-nee, they arrive in the city looking for a place to live and possibly find work too. While on his second day of job-hunting, Ren happens to rescue Miyu-sama, landing him a job as a butler apprentice with [color=Black][font="Arial Black"]Shinra Ruonji[/font][/color]. What adventures will Ren encounter as he begins life in the Ruonji household?

Yet another butler anime series. After watching the first episode, I wouldn't say the artwork and graphics are excellent, though the character designs can be considered interesting. Nonetheless, this new title juggles numerous themes, providing something for everyone. [color=Blue][font="Arial Black"]Subtle incest, loli, maids, fighting butlers, talking robotic eggs, schoolgirls, big breasts, traps... [/font][/color]You name it, they have it. Heck, even [color=Brown][font="Arial Black"]Pedobear[/font][/color] was featured in a particular scene.

I wouldn't say "They are my Noble Masters" is the best anime of Winter 2007/2008, but if you are looking for fanservice, and a light-hearted storyline, it is definitely the way to go.

P.S. I was tempted to watch it only for [color=Black][font="Arial Black"]Shinra Ruonji[/font][/color], the mistress with long black hair. One of the few non-schoolgirl female characters that I have taken a liking to.

The anime gives off a little Hayate the Combat Butler vibe, with the head butler shooting a Hadoken and all. I didn't know it was based off an H-game, though I should have figured. That explains the sexual undertones and partial nudity (they were really cutting it close with the censors in episode 2). Well, at least it parodies some aspects of the H-game genre so it will probably continue to be entertaining.

Any other thoughts on it?

Yes, it is definitely similar to Hayate no Gotoku in certain aspects. After realizing that there was a "trap" featured in the anime, I am curious to know if such a character is available for "interaction" in the H-game. :D

As of the third episode, the ending theme now features fanservice.

Don't worry Gambler, I'll converse with you. That person who edited those screencaps did a very nice job, unless they could be found somewhere else. Anyway, I saw the CG set for the game, and there's no trap arc or anything. Nor is there a Colonel arc. Aside from the females in the mansion it seems possible to have an arc with the girl with the Rurouni Kenshin-type scar on her forehead. The anime itself is alright, nothing mind-blowing, but it's rather funny. Episode 4 does have a Hayate reference in it, in addition to Ren receiving extreme butler training.

Just watched the 4th episode, now downloading the 5th. It's a nice anime, and after watching it, I get an urge to buy the game. SHINRA SAMA!!!!!

Watched episode 5. More bathing suits and some topless sunscreen application with pseudo-loli breast groping. The Colonel gets to show off more crazy powers like his Spirit Gun and psychic-like powers. Hato-nee gets more screen time in this one, and we get to see her scary side. However, the episode is serious half of the time, which can diminish one's enjoyment of it. Decent, but the next episode looks more promising.

On a side note, I like Ren's mosaic auto-defense mechanism at the end of episode 3.

Yay! I am glad others enjoy They are my Noble Masters too. I doubt I can buy the game due to the law in place, but I can always try to look for a torrent. Getting the game installed is the difficult part, especially when it comes to understanding the instructions.

I am also tempted to preorder a [font=Arial Black]Shinra[/font]-sama figurine...

Hayate no Gotoku here and there but it feels too much like an eroge for an anime

Try isohunt.com. Copy and paste the japanese title of They are my Noble Masters into the search function and you should be able to see a few .iso downloads. I hope they work, since I have not tried them out myself.

The "Clothes off" Ending somehow remembers me on some FlashGames i played where you can shoot of the clothes of Female Anime Characters.

Just watched episode 6 and loving all the parodies it has.
This week.. we get Shinra-sama in a PE uniform.

Episode 6 is good. Plenty of references in this one that makes it more funny than usual. We also get to see more Hato-nee being cute and kicking butt.

I've just read the new edition of Megami Magazine, and they will release the DVD version and it's UNCENSORED :shock: .

I'm kind of 'meh' about it. If you want those characters in hentai, you could just get the CG set of the eroge. It's not like the anime is as 'sensual' as, say, Kanokon.

Never played "They're my Noble masters" yet, but I can easily ask my friend about that.

I'm just curious about it. CG's don't animate itself, and I just want to see them animated for once. :D
