As a fun aside, the voice actors for Our Hero and Butler-san did the roles of Domon Kasshu and Master Asia in G Gundam. The character relationships are roughly the same here too, and the first half of the series has a few related in-jokes scattered about. Nothing near the level of the Hayate no Gotoku "mandatory Gundam reference pre episode" though.
