I have to say, Act I is degrees better than the original demo I played a while ago. I'm really impressed, and a little jealous.

After this project is done, do any of you plan on making another? Or is that thinking too far ahead?

Yeah there is a semi-official translation project for Japanese amongst other languages.

The extra material depends on if anyone bothers to do any :)

I think this would be a very cool idea. Perhaps a downloadable .pdf with all of the artwork and design sketches?

Other then coincidentally being Shizune's translator, What is Misha's disability? As far as i know Yamaku is a school for a disabled, saying that Misha doesn't have a disability breaks that though apart.

Also, for the Shizune route in the future, is Hisao going as far as to know Sign language just for her?

It's without, and her prosthetic legs weigh about 1-2kg apiece.

I know this is an annoying question to ask, and most people hate doing this giving out the info because it implies commitment, but can you possibly give a rough estimate of when the full ver will be released?

Or, if that's not a question you're willing to answer:

There are two general arguments that are going in terms of how the game is being developed: one is that the development is linear, that you're just writing/drawing at a constant rate. The other is that it's exponential, so that once you've got the basics down and momentum going it'll be easier to get more stuff done. Which one would you agree with?

Probably the same as for Act 1. It works on almost any PoS imaginable, but you will get framedrops on the graphic-intensive scenes. Between now and then there might be some upgrades to the engine though.

It was all done on the computer- I used a combination of Sibelius 5 and FL Studio. The initial ideas would be sketched out in Sibelius, and then when they were complete I'd go into FL Studio and start using VSTs and all that. The sounds come from a mixture of Garritan Personal Orchestra, EWQLSO Gold edition and Sampletank.

Also, I'm afraid this will have to be it for now. But I'll be back later, so if there any other things you want to ask post them here.

Firstly: Good job. Professional quality. Can really see the hard work put into it. Excellent art. Plenty of black humor offset by not being outrageous. Really good stuff.

Secondly: Unsure if this has already been answered. Am I to understand the Rin is supposed to be a child of thalidomide, or is she simply an amputee? Or is her missing-arms just a general "birth defect"? If this is a spoiler, say no more. I ask because no one in their right minds would take thalidomide in the time-setting this is in, and in the original omake, Raita mentioned that she was a thalidomide child.

Third: What do you use to produce the CGs in Visual Novels? More specifically, what do *you* use?

There is no release date, and not even an estimate.

It's not really clear-cut how the developement works, especially at 4LS. We run into new, unpredicted problems on a weekly basis, and constantly have to keep an eye on an increasing number of things that might blow up on our face. We also develop as creators, so what seemed to be a good idea a year ago might not be so anymore. Plus, KS is not a job for anyone of us, so for example the devs that go to school work less during exam periods, and more during vacations.
