You're right in the sense that a lot of people who likes (loves) hentai, likes anime/manga as well. But that doesn't mean everyone does it. I saw a lot of people who said they prefers comics over manga.
What I'm trying to say it, it's not 'obvious' that people will chose manga over comics even if this is a hentai site.

Of course they joined because they liked hentai/anime/manga. But overtime they got over it.

Some people do have a 'one-dimensional' way of thinking, e.g Hentai->Manga LolSoObviousOP. Whenever I see such a person, I usually think about what they would do if they where detectives in a homicide case.

I voted Us Comics because I don't own any manga, but I do own a few comics. I would've preferred a "both equally" option.

i started off buying manga way before i even bought my first comic, and im a big batman fan xD guess im an even bigger manga fan o.O i just learned something new about myself today, thank you fakku xD

Given the people who would be more likely to frequent this site, it would obviously be manga winning by a landslide.
That being said, besides the art and whatnot, what attracts me to Japanese media, such as manga and anime, is the culture. It's foreign to me, therefore it's more interesting than say American culture.

I liked to read US comics a lot as a child, but when I was introduced to Japanese manga I was completely enveloped by it!

For me it's manga all the way, but that's only because I never knew what US comic books are, except from the movies that are said to be inspired by them, so there was nothing to choose from in this pole sadly, if there was Korean, French or Belgium comics, I'd have rated them manga first, Manwha second, Belgium comics 3rd and French last, (Remember I have never had any experience with US comics).
