Didn't find any comment on the new advertisement so figure i might as well start one.
I don't mind the advertisement screen. It’s just a small spot at the bottom of the page. There's no popup which is good. (Those are really annoying.)
As for the size of the page, while I don't mind the small screen (It’s still bigger than my desktop screen). I do find myself occasionally try to find the bigger size for storage purpose. Glad to have them around X1400 height. :D
Hopefully the ad will help balance out the server cost. (Unlikely, but hei, i can hope :) )

Like I said I will be running the ad for about two days to see how much money could be made off of it for server costs. I will let you guys know the amount and then you can vote on keeping the ad and increasing size, or relying on donations.

I was kind of disappointed a while back when you told me to resize the images when I uploaded XD
However, it wasn't too bad. Since we maintained the aspect ratio, I haven't had any problems with it. Also, in most of them, not a lot is cut off.
I run my monitor on 1280x1024 and I view it on Windows Media Center. When I watch from my bed (which is 1-2 feet away), I use double zoom (I think it's around 400%) to read the text and haven't had any problems with the quality.
Also, for people who keep loads of manga/doujins, like me, resizing images help save a lot of space on the long run.
The only ones I see who will be truly affected by this are wide screen viewers =/

I meant to have a giant discussion about the ads and everything but I haven't had a chance to sit down and get anything started. But azumax, it did affect me when you said that you believe FAKKU is "classier" than having OMGWTF SEX NOW BANNER ads.
I saw that post right when you made it and since then I have been trying out ads from different sources to see what works best with out community. So you will see the type of ad change a lot over the next few days.
