Do you consider yourself as a Gentleman?

Depends what you put into "being a gentleman"

As far as i've seen of what the idea of a gentleman is, the it is heavily based on gender roles, and inequality in a sense, or otherwise said it is based on that the man takes care of the woman.

I believe in a relationship the two entities takes care of each other in an equal fashion, and that's why i would not go out of my way to act humble or serviceable, because after all, that is what a salesman does, and i am not trying to sell myself to the girl, to then change the way i treat her later.

Now what i think a true gentleman is, then it would rather be someone who just simply cares. Someone who is willing to put someone else's needs before their own, and/or is just simply a good person. I think i am such a person, or at least that is what i want to be.

Nope. I treat others how they treat me.

It's a waste of time being chivalrous to people who, more often than not, won't appreciate it.

I guess I would be considered one, but it's not just toward women like some so-called gentlemen like to do. I try to be nice toward everyone, because it's really just a nice thing to do. I'm not expecting anything of it, but I see the way some people act, and it makes me want to try to be a better person sometimes, because people suck and I don't want that to be the way things have to be.

I'd like to think I am, but that would be in bad form because of self-judgeing.

I would say that I'm sometimes a gentleman, depends if the person is worth being a gentleman too. I'm not going to act like a gentleman to someone who is being a bitch.
