Does anyone here visit Fakku using Apple products?

I've been thinking of investing in an Apple product like the iPad and Macbook Pro, I am aware that there are also viruses for Apple computers and curious if anyone has run into any of those on here.

I've never had any problems with virus' on my Macs, and I've used a few.
And I turn off the firewall on my router.

I will warn you though, if you buy a Macbook that doesn't have a discreet graphics card. (a laptop that lists Intel Integrated Graphics X000) You're going to notice that the littlest things make the fans roar. Just watching Youtube will make it hot enough to cook an egg on it.

I plan on getting a Macbook Pro that has an actual graphics card for gaming, since there is an option for that one. Surprising that Youtube videos really make a Mac work though.

It's how the OS handles it. I've had a Macbook Pro and a Macbook Air, and they both preformed silently and very cool on Windows. Whereas On OSX they nearly burn my crotch just browsing forums.

That's very strange, does it cause any problems besides the heat thing? Doesn't sound normal to me.

Not really, OSX is nice to use, and as long as you invest in a nice machine, it runs fine. So going for one with discreet graphics like you're planning should help in avoiding this issue, though I can't say for certain, because all of my Macs have been ones with integrated GPU.

Ah okay, thought it was a common problem. So no viruses or problems on this website, those were my main reasons.

There is also Adblocker for Safari, right?

Wow, pretty cool, didn't know that.

Firewalls do not stop viral infections, they stop network infiltrations. Also, demilitarizing your router is really, really bad idea.

The modem/router combo Comcast gave me is compete shit and I can't do anything that involves accessing my machines from outside the network unless I shut it off.
Plus I've always been under the assumption of, if you're not an idiot on the internet, you won't have any problems.
Though I did realize that the good router that I'm using off of the modem does have the firewall up.

Fakku on my iPad. No problems and minimal detection. Though spilling is inconvenient sometimes. *wink*

Lol, nice. I have a Note II for my Fakku needs. Almost tablet sized, but I can hold it one handed. :P Plus android has a Fakku App

I don't like Apple products, they're overpriced and not moddable.

Fakku works just fine on my ipod touch.

But other than that I would only get a macbook if you plan to use it for mainly normal things. Even though there is steam for mac there still is a long list of games that don't work unless you use Windows on it.

Personally, I think apple computers are overpriced and overrated(especially since you can't upgrade it or mod it)

I use my I Pad for FAKKU! Most of the time unless I know I'm going to spend more than an hour on the forums and also twice on one of my apple computers that I use for live streaming and some modding.

They are to phones what COD is to gaming. A trend which hardly improves over its last product and is too overpriced.

I browse with my Macbook Air does a fine job. It's probably one of the few products Apple makes that is decently specced for the price plus it looks good (which is probably why people buy them).

What is so different from a Macbook Air to a Macbook Pro?

Thinner and lighter but less horsepower and less input ports like USB ports ect.
