I play commander...exclusivly.

I play my Mimor Vig steal yo lands .deck (prophet of kruphix broke that deck),

I also use a Tolsmir elves/angels deck (a fun deck that turned out being badass)

...and I'm making a Rahda elves/dragons deck (meant to be a different take on Tolsmir, but it's not looking nearly as good...).

I had a glissa deck, but i scrapped it once i found out my combo was a no go....

There is a guy in our playgroup that might play alot like you do. He plays Jeleva . He just sits there and constantly snags people's stuff, or he proceeds to warp the game state to the point were we're not even really playing magic anymore. His deck doesn't even really have a win con. It's just extremely annoying to play against, lol. Actually, no lol. It's not funny. His deck is a douche. q_q


Oh (since you guys are talking about zoo) have you seen that kitten zoo deck? It's one of the coolest things i've seen in a while. It's a pauper deck that uses nylea's presence to get domain effects off.
inb4 who cares, no one here plays pauper.

I've played Slivers in Commander, and that is the path of least resistance to become the most hated player on the table. QQ

So when that happened, I 'downgraded' to Rafiq of the Many and the Voltron effect, and it got ugly whenever Rafiq and Elspeth, Knight-Errant were on the board together... I can't win! Everyone hates!

So I settled for Sakashima, where everyone else's wincon becomes your wincon. I figure that doesn't pack a lot of hate-- I mean, shit, when someone has Essence of the Wild out and they cast Storm Herd, I don't want 45 6/6's, I want 34 1/1's on my side of the field. Thanks, Commandeer! And oh, what's that? You got an Eldrazi out and it got returned to your library? Lemme cast Bribery on that real quick.

Oh, and because I was harmless during the first 10 turns of the game and politics of peace were involved, I have some artifacts that make all my lands give me like 4 mana each. If you break the non-aggression truce, I'm popping this Disk as a response.

Rafiq with Sovereigns of Lost Alara is the worst:

1. Swing Rafiq
2. Get free Eldrazi Conscription on Rafiq
3. ???
4. Profit

But yeah, your deck sounds alot like the Jeleva player's deck i was talking about. His mentality is "I don't have good cards so imma just steal/eff with urs *trollface*". It's basically a NTR. deck. It induces rage like NTR too.

I never used Sovereigns and Conscription in my Rafiq deck, personally-- I felt that I was painting too much of a target on my head by being able to pull that kind of stunt off. That amounts to almost as much aggro as playing Slivers by that point...

I find it funny that the mentality of 'not having good cards' translates to 'taking others' cards', because you need good cards in the first place to be able to steal the more precious things. xD Things like Vedalken Shackles, Keiga, Phyrexian Metamorph, even Vesuvan Shapeshifter and Sculpting Steel. I remember I struggled a ton to get some of the really good cards I wanted... who was that-- there was a legendary that stole other legendaries.... Queen something. And because of the wording on Sakashima, you could copy everyone else's commander, too. But yeah, even a deck that takes others' stuff needs its own reset buttons, nukes and accelerators. Playing blue was best. *-*

That whole taking other people's cards things was his words, not mine. So apparently that mentality is true enough for him. Doesn't matter to me either way. I hate decks whose sole purpose seems to be controlling other people's stuff. Doesn't matter to me if it uses good cards or not.

I dislike the way wizards seems to be taking commander. I wish they would stop releasing legendaries just for commander, because i hate each batch more than the last.

inb4 this coming from the guy who plays two Karador decks.
I dismantled Karador. Cuz he's too simple for me. Just like all the other commander legends.

Good ol' Modern Season. So nice to see so many decks pop up (e.g. Blue Moon, Signet Combo, etc.) as well as good favorites return. Just not good for anyone's wallets. :P
