I see you mentioned smell, OP, but I wouldn't call fresh out of the shower "natural" since that's mostly soaps and such that you're smelling then.

I didn't call it natural, I called it fresh. And yes, that's the smell I'm talking about. Soaps and fruits. I meant it's a fresher smell than that of added perfume.

I prefer girls who pretty themselves up with a bit of make-up. Not to the point where it's excessive and it looks caked on. Having no make-up is fine too.

Too much make-up makes me kinda wanna puke. D:

What i look for in a girl is a good natural look, usually, that can be pushed to a greater extent by using them make-ups. :D

Just a liiiiiiittttlllleee make-up is what I prefer. I cannot stand women who feel the need to put on 2 feet of make-up, have some confidence in yourself.

Kind of Important A ray of Tsunlight.
Truthfully, I'd say it depends on the girl. Some look good without make-up, some don't. However, if I honestly liked some girl, it wouldn't really matter in the long run.

I really don't understand some girls and their obsession with makeup. I don't think alot of them realize how ugly they look when the cake it on so much :/

A little bit is fine, but too much is just stupid and shouldn't be done. That said i do very much like seeing a girls face and not the 27 layers of makeup, the natural look is alot more attractive to me.

Welll... I personally enjoy wearing makeup. I wear eyeliner and lip gloss, mainly. I just feel prettier and like I look more mature. :3 Usually when I go out without makeup, I still get told that I'm cute, but I tend to get mistaken for a 16 year old.... >.< I've been asked "When will you be graduating high school?" and even when I went out with my husband and mother-in-law, someone asked me if they were my parents and they said it was nice to see a teen out with their mother and father.... -_-

I believe it can also depend on the situation at hand.
But overall, some light make-up to accentuate a woman's eyes or lips can be lovely.

But it's also fun and intriguing when I go out, to see what some women do with their make-up.
For instance, a friend of mine is GORGEOUS but the things she can do with her hair and make-up just makes me go O________O

I think all of you say you prefer the natural look because you don't know what REAL natural is. If you've ever seen a female ALL NATURAL, it isn't the prettiest thing. I generally only wear eyeliner when I go out but it makes a HUGE difference. Without eyeliner I get treated worse and people have called me ugly in the past. I constantly get told by the people I date I look much better with eyeliner which to them, seems "natural."

WTF? People outright call you ugly? What dicks.
But yeah, without make-up a face can look really dull and almost tired. I've had a customer say to me "You look tired, must be a long day" and I had just gotten to work 15 minutes prior and was just too lazy to put on some eyeliner and mascara that day.

Yeah... :/ Ever since someone called me that when I didn't put on makeup, I generally try to when I hang out with friends... And YEAH I HATE THAT. I sometimes just don't understand how people are unable to tell what makeup vs. something like being tired is. As long as you don't wear eyeshadow, I'm convinced boys think you're not wearing makeup. -_-||

Yes, we do. It's what you look like without additions, what you're supposed to look like.

Don't take that the wrong way though, I'm not against make-up at all if people want to pretty themselves up, and I hope they enjoy and have fun doing so in trying out different techniques and styles etc. It's just the media has stressed it so much that it's like it's become a social norm and people, specifically women, will be stigmatised if they don't try and look like what people think they "should" look like, portrayed via mass media advertising to sell products.

That's probably what it is, because its such a small detail that can make such a huge difference.
I have heard of women who have gotten "cosmetic surgeries" done to make it so it look like they are always wearing eyeliner. Such a stupid idea.

Oh god, yeah. D: I've seen an eyeliner tattoo procedure and it's horrifying!

A lot of men can't tell if women are wearing even basic things such as cover up, foundation, and toner. I definitely know this. A lot of men I know can't even tell the difference between eyeliner and no eyeliner (as long as it isn't excessive, clearly).

I've seen people fresh out of bed without any make up and have gotten friends to wipe off their make up just for the purpose of comparing with and without it. For almost all of my friends all they wore was eyeliner. One or two wore a bit of foundation. It doesn't make any difference to me, its not like she becomes someone else. Some of my friends say they feel more self-confident if they wear some make up so I'm not against it. Once you seen someone without it, it become very easy to tell when they have it on.

The only time I would be against it is if someone does it to get a specific look to attract a specific person and its not something they normally do. In short the "I want him to like me" excuse.

Its kind of similar to glasses. When you always see someone wearing glasses you get used to that image so as a knee-jerk reaction you may look a little weird to them at first without the glasses. I'm not defending how those people acted towards you or anything, they were very much idiots in my opinion.
