Pretty good season. I hated Shane too, but even though he is a dick, he ended up being right in regard to decision making. Rick is too soft.

Not true. This actually has a story. With the Left 4 Dead series, the only "storyline" is "Here are some zombies"

Sorry to bring this back but I'm a little confused after watching the latest epic episode.

Spoiler:
Shane finally snapped and had one last showdown with Rick. He gets stabbed and died. Then he came back as a zombie. Why did he get back up as a zombie? The previous episode the old man died and he didn't turn. The same thing happened to the kid that was being held prisoner when Shane killed him.


Am I missing something? Why do some people return as zombies while others don't?

Dale was shot in the head, thus he didn't turn into a walker.

You don't have to be bitten to turn into one of them, you just have to die and have your brain intact. Everyone in the show just assumed you had to be bitten to be turned.


Man, watching Rick agonize over what he was made to do made me a little teary eyed.


Season finale is next! Then onto season 3 where we'll get to see The Governor. Hopefully that means we'll get Michonne as well.

Thanks for explaining it. Makes sense. But then that means everyone is "infected", right? This thing has to be some sort of virus. I haven't read the comics so I have no idea.

And this Governor guy must be some bad ass if you have to capitalize his name like that lol. Can't wait to see that.

Yeah, they were guessing it might be airborne or something on The Talking Dead.

the season finale was awesome! and I can't wait for the next season! from what I gathered from the Talking Dead its going to be pretty epic. I mean they've been working on it since January!

It was the giant building they showed at the end, when they were panning over the forest.

I missed it both times... but that's where i would have been aiming for right off. or a bank. any kind of solid building with limited points of entry.

It probably would be infested with walkers though or at the very least unsavory criminals.


edit: Talking Dead Special was last night with producers of the show and Drew Carey. There were a few taped clips of Hardwick visiting the set and talking to the actors.

This is definitely a good series, but i didn't catch most of the last part of the second season. No spoilers please :3 also, i'll probably be picking up the series on dvd eventually.
