Spoiler:
I think they are doing that to replace the whole Gov/Michonne incident from the comics. Seriously, who knows what Kirkman is doing.

holyshit i didn't expect rick could be so mad and depressed that much after Lori's loss i mean just look at his eyes, for a moment was sure he was gonna kill everyone and who is the person at the telephone at the end of this ep?Guess i have to wait till the next week to figure out.
@Tsujoi doubt that Lori's boby can be eaten only by a walker just in a few hour,I guess Carl didn't have guts to shoot his own mother and she now a zombie.

Spoiler:
Nope. It was actually confirmed by one of the producers on Talking Dead that the Walker there ate Lori. He was too bloated to move afterwards.

Episode 6

Spoiler:
The bitergram thing that they had Michonne do was hilarious. Andrea is really annoying me though, she is getting worse than Lori to me. It was nice to hear some of Daryls backstory, cool to see why he is the way he is. The Lori phone call was done perf, freaked me out a little because the sketchiness of it reminded me of Silent Hill. Meryl captures Glenn and Maggie, but Michonne finds her way to the prison. Next episode will be good.

Ideas related to the comic.

Spoiler:
They captured Maggie and Glenn. If you have read the comic Michonne ends up getting raped by the Gov, but in the show she gets away. I wonder if they are going to move the incident where it is for Maggie instead, or just not bother doing it (maybe wait for Michonne to come back?). Who knows, but that was always a part that stood out for me especially when Michonne got her revenge.

Wonder what is going to happen.

"Hounded"
Spoiler:
Well, as expected, Rick was just cracked like an inner city sidewalk. Thankfully, he seems to be past his little crazy spell. That part where he was holding Little Asskicker was beyond adorable. Carol's alive, and Daryl got to bond a little with Carl. Andrea is a stupid slut, and Michone has arrived at the jail. Good episode.

Spoiler:
Totally agree, I think 2 episodes was enough grieving for Rick, I was worried that it would be a long drawn out process. any thoughts on the shit Glenn and Maggie are in? lol

"When The Dead Come Knocking"
Spoiler:
Oh, brilliant work, Maggie. Guys threatens to rape you? Act badass. Guy points a gun at your boyfriend? Sell out the entire group back at the prison, and become a sobbing mess. Again, wonderful job. At least Glenn was badass.

AND ON THE NEXT EPISODE OF TWD: EMOTIONAL WARFARE

Anyways, on tonight's episode.

Spoiler:
Merle kindly suck my non-existent dick and get some balls. Carl: Should we help her? Wtf do you think, Michonne is holding the red basket you fool! Michonne is a graceful wounded warrior. I love her. Best part of the episode is when Michonne described the Gov. "Pretty bot, charming Jim Jones Type." And then when she Slashed that guy, brutal and idgaf perfect. Did I not mention Glenn being a badass with his Asian Cry of power? So glad they didn't rape Maggie, but ugh for her selling out the prison (I understand though). Andrea agrees to all crazy acts and she is a skanky fool.

Finally, why does everyone trust the Gov? His is not charming, he is creepy and I would not let him near my lady bits at all. Does the zombie-Apocalypse lower standards?

"When The Dead Come Knocking"
Spoiler:
A really good episode, but did anyone notice Oscar( the new black guy) holding a hammer, which was a weapon mostly used by Tyreese from the comics? I'm guessing the new black is supposed to resemble or become a greater reference to Tyreese than T Dog ever was.

I will give the writers credit for giving a hint of rape and showing it on television, which is not common in American television. For those who have read the comics do you think Glenn will get his revenge as Michonne did now that the viewers have seen a Glenn that has become a larger role?

Both the Governor and Rick have some similarities and have basically almost lost their minds in a world where death is constantly around them and they must do anything to survive. However, Rick is not a sadistic man(I have yet to notice anything that would indicate that) and has the one thing that has kept him grounded, which is his family. It is evident that Lori's death is an impact on Rick and how the viewers were able to see how Rick is slowly going insane. The Governor is an example of what Rick can become if he continues to lose his humanity, which is hard keep in world where barely anyone can be trusted. It's evident that Rick has changed since he has become less compliant or willing to talk it out as he did in the previos 2 seasons for example his first meeting with Michonne or his incident with the estranged hunter. I wonder what happened to the Governor in the beginning of the formation of his town to make him into a sadistic sociopath.

I'm glad that the writers are actually trying to respect the comics more often while trying create their own story. Because of the pace of show and how somewhat close it is to the comics I can't wait to see what happens with the prison and who will die now that Lori is dead.

I don't know why this just dawned on me, but the Governor and Rick share similar qualities.

Fascinating.

Spoiler:
I didn't notice the hammer, but with his stature and the way he portrays himself I figured he would be the TV Tyrese, but I have heard otherwise that Ty will come in later (depending if you believe fandom talk). I'm still open to the idea that Ty will show up possibly.

As for Glenn, I believe he will. I'm figuring that within the chaos that will come with the group attacking next episode he will get his hands on the Gov. Next episode is the mid-season finale so I'm thinking something crucial will happen to Gov. Hopefully that something crucial is related to Glenn because he was giving him looks from hell or maybe Maggie will follow comic Michonnes footsteps and do it herself.

Rick and The Gov are very similar. You say that his family kept Rick grounded, I assume the TV Gov felt the same way. The only difference I can see between them is that while Rick is willing to let go and overcome everything The Gov is not. He keeps his Zombie daughter with him and treats he as if she is still human, which she will never be. He isn't letting go and that control issue drives his character a lot. I am not sure about the TV verison of The Govs life, but if you are really curious Kirkman made a prequel (and sequal) comic of The Govs life.

Spoiler:

I agree, the Gov seems like what Rick could become if he had lost Carl and the Baby when Lori had died.

I'll have to read the Gov comic, I hadn't realised that it had come out already.

I can forgive Maggie for selling out the group. I'd rather keep my loved one alive than watch them be murdered. Besides, at least she didn't sell out the group like comic book Glen did.

Man, Glen being a badass. I really can't see them going the full Michonne revenge scene, but I can see either Maggie or Glen lopping off his hand now.

I hope being badass doesn't mean they'll kill Glen off this season...that would suck.

Andrea slutting it up, she's such a disappointment compared to her comic book self. I hate that.

CM Punk and Yvette Nichole Brown (Shirley from Community, she took notes!) were the guests on Talking Dead. Good guests and fans of the show as they were referencing episodes from previous seasons and Punk reads the comic books. Cool.

It would be cool if they followed through and put CM punk in the show as a zombie or something lol.

Normally when a show differs as much as this one from the comics, its a red flag for me, but they can be taken in equal doses. Its a hell of a good zombie series so I recommend it to any of my friends who haven't checked it out yet.

Well the creator said in the comics that he wanted the show to be a stand alone series similar enough to the comics to be appreciated by the fans, but different enough to be enjoyable by them because it's not as fun to watch when you know exactly what's going to happen every episode and who's going to die and when. I think that's a good way to look at things and personally, I'm pretty satisfied with the show so far. I think my only disappointment is Andrea. After reading up to issue 75 so far, I can say that her comic version is soooo much better. She's just kind of an annoying whore in the show as opposed to a badass female character. It seems to me as though Michonne and Andrea were switched up a bit for the show and the comic since Michonne seems to be a bit of a whore in the comics, but now she's the badass. Well, more badass anyway. I like the changes to Michonne in the show. I hope she doesn't get

raped :(
