I said Artwork because if a story is shit the artist should be of a caliber high enough to make up for it and even as I stand by the artwork you wont see anything if the censors fuck it all up

i go for story, i cant enjoy a hentai with good art if i dislike the story.

Well, it's artwork with me. that's the start off of every fresh hentai. then the story comes next. then they do un-sensor or sensor blah blah.

For me, the whole thing hinges on the artwork. In the same way that some ladies don't do it for me, some styles just aren't my cup of tea. Colour, for me, is a bonus because unattractive artwork in colour is still unattractive. Everything else is icing on the cake. Although it can be annoying if said artwork is covered in HUGE BLACK LINES (or that one time that it was little heads. That was funny).

If you want to watch a hentai then I think you should be able to enjoy that genre has to offer. If what you're looking to enjoy gets taken out of context then what is the point?

The artwork comes in the first place obviously (You can't fap to abominations), then the story comes into the picture as a strong follow up. Rest of the things is not important.

I think both Story and the quality of the Artwork play a big part in it.
I mean, you don't want a story where a MC just goes around.. screwing people and then turns into a dragon. I mean, stuff like that is ridiculous. right?
But, if you have bad artwork, to a great heartbreaking story like the VN Kana Little Sister, then.. a lot of people couldn't really get past the first few pages. Am I right or is this just me?

If there was a "Uncensored" choice I'd choose that.
Choosed artwork. It's the images that is the first attraction weather it's moe or realism in style.
Second comes in the storyline, because there are alot of great hentai artowork, but at times the story isn't really that good or at times a turn off to some.

somehow i started reading a NTR and Forced Hentai manga because i got caught up in the story, even though i dislike that two genre before.

All about the story and artwork. crappy art work and a story makes us mad and good artwork plus a story makes a master piece. art work on its own can stand by itself, because a picture is worth a thousand words. Add a story and hentai is worth a thousand and one words

What's art matter if you cover it up in big obnoxious black lines? Do you really think anyone would appreciate the Mona Lisa if nobody could make out the smile? What about if the Beatles were so gargled, you couldn't hear the music? How about if we just smothered every cake in the world in tar?
Sure it's pornographic, right, but it's not like that hasn't existed as long as humans did. Art is a lot of things, rarely is it annoying black bars. It could be, I mean, lots of things ARE art, but in this case, it's safe to assume it's rare.

I'd say "all of the above", but for me, it's censorship. I don't mind black bars, but sometimes they either mosaic the hell out of it or block it out entirely. At that point, there IS no point. I'm reading/viewing porn, not normal entertainment.

Artwork... by far. It could have an amazing story but have shit artwork, and that'd be well and good for any other genre, but if it's pornographic in nature, I want something pretty to look at, damn it.
