In a woodsy area preferably away from people with a house that is built into the ground. As for decorations, I do not care as long as I have wifi and a place to shove all my geekery and books. A must is a room that is specifically for a library/office area.

If that is impossible then I will just get a ranch and stay far away from the city.

Id like to live in the mountains in a nice cabin.

I want to build my own house. If I could afford it, I'd make it out of concrete. There are concrete houses that look like regular houses without having to deal with all the maintenance of a wood house. I'd want lots of land, a fireplace, big front porch, and a pool.

So think of the wilderness in Alaska. Now put a small-ish log cabin. A think blanket of snow covers the small rectangular building, save for a chimney stubbornly standing out. A small line of smoke constantly rises from the chimney and the faint smell of food cooking is blown on a light breeze. A small lake can be seen in the distance, a half mile away at most. Sunlight floods through a small gap in the clouds, casting its ray upon the cabin, as if by some act of God, and the trees behind the cabin sway.

I'd like a warm, medium sized brownstone in Brooklyn with a small garden out back, internet and all those nice things. Maybe happy feeling neo victorian interior design. Lots of moe shit all over the place.

OT: A decent two story house between the country and the city, with a small pond and maybe an aream to raise something like chickens. It would be simple living, just have to make sure I have good internet and my tech, and a room to work on art stuff.

Well I am not living there alone, I will have a roommate.

Gargantuan aquarium with one of those gigantic jellyfish in the lounge. So that every once in a while you just see this humongous, eerie creature of the deep just loom and vanish into the dark.


Buy permanent ownership of the land, so the government can fuck off and shove their taxes up their fecking arse.

Something large but not a manor or mansion size. I'd want bay windows, floor-length windows in the living room, a spacious kitchen with an island and bar stools, the color scheme would be warm and woodsy, because those color schemes feel so cozy. There'd be a pool with a current generator for exercise. A working fireplace. A spacious master bedroom with a walk-in bathroom that has one of those jacuzzi tubs, an overhead shower, all encased in a glass sliding-door entry. I could ramble forever about interior design, but.. it changes with my moods. I'd want my bathroom to be an escape, a soothing retreat into an island getaway or a marine theme. The bedroom would be warm tones only, a biiiig bed with the comfiest damn matress and a bunch of comfy pillows I'd actually use because throw pillows are pointless. Soft, fluffy blankets. A bookcase, armchair, and a wall-mounted TV. The rest of the house would be warm and rustic with modern elements and fixtures. Inviting. Homey. Updated.

No one probably gets this, but if I think about this even 1% realisticly: in Parks and Recreation season 3 episode 6 they go to Chris' place. And I want his house. It doesnt seem too large nor too small + with different furniture and decorations it would be really nice.

And if I just think about a perfect home... I think I would disguise myself as one of Jacks maids and then kill him in his sleep so I get his money and the castle. And the maids. Har har.
