A small 1 bedroom apartment in Seattle on the 10th or greater floor with a view of downtown, no greater than 400 square feet (~37 square meters), no less than 325 square feet (~30 square meters), dark wood hardwood floors, monochrome decor and furniture, brushed stainless steel counter-tops in the kitchen, gas oven/range, stainless steel refrigerator (with French doors), 2 walls of my living room will be bookcases filled with both classical and contemporary literature, the wall between the two others would be a massive chalkboard, home intercom linked to a media center, 22" (~55cm) television in the kitchen with cable and a DVD player (cooking shows etc), 40" (~101cm) television in the living room on a swivel with the cords integrated into the table to allow for free motion (up to 720 degrees), 2 small modern style love seats, in the bedroom another 40" TV, twin bed, bookcase, Underwood typewriter, wall mount for my bass guitar, slate-stone bathroom floor (preferably grey), comfortable chair and a small computer desk with a high end custom pc (with a wireless keyboard and mouse capable of linking to and TV in the house, semi-opaque glass shower, full sets of copper-bottom cookware, and a fake fireplace.
As a bit of background information, I'm mildly agoraphobic (hence the small size, large spaces make me incredibly uncomfortable) and I'm acrophilic (I think that's the word), so a small place high up sounds excellent.
I live in a 36m2 1 bedroom apartment right now and I can tell you that your dream flat will be so cramped that you won't be able to move around. If you could even fit everything in it, which I seriously doubt. Rank it up another 10m2 and you might start coming close to something that would fit your stuff.
For me, I'd like a 3(possibly four) room flat, high up and with a decently sized balcony. Ideally facing east so I have some morning sunlight.
