Moses a female?

Lol, for some reason I'm still not even so sure. Based on Moses' post in the meet and greet I see Moses as a guy, but then again who knows.

anyway for the children topic:

Children seem cool and all but I don't see myself as a father. Still, if I were to have a child someday I'd probably do anything for him/her and his/her mother.

If it make you feel better I see myself as a Bear.

Are you saying you're a female? Doesn't matter much to me but it would be cool and perhaps helpful to know which one you actually are.

i'm down with polar bears is what you would call yourself i believe

Seems right.

Wait, a bear? As in the big, typically overweight, definitely gay, yet still incredibly hairy, version of bear or is this some other type of bear I don't know about?

I ain't gay, or hairy. :(

Only incase the world makes signs that actually some things are going to change. Wouldn't want a child growing up with natural catastrophes due to global warming and other problems seriously.
Yes I know the reason sounds lame but I have been growing up on the seaside and saw how things changed in time. More storms, harsher ones, way higher temperature than years ago and so on.

You guys need to be real careful, I'm seeing a lot of warnings from different players about staying on subject and not spamming. You get offtopic way too easily. hell everyone does, but this is getting a little out of hand. You guys even made a thread in IB, why not use it?

Getting off subject like that makes it so discussion dies down, granted this thread is pretty much settled down with the fact whether or not people want kids, but come on. Really.

My apologies, my ADD was kicking in.

I think that the world right now, while surely not perfect by any definition, is acceptable, it is definitely better than the 17th century was. So even with natural disasters and all the crap that is going on I would still have a child, several if I could.

@Moses, you never answered the initial question, while its fine you can be a bear, bears still have a gender. I also didn't mean to suggest you were any of those I was simply trying to clarify your statement, or more preferably have you clarify it. We should also take this to PM(s) if we are going to hash this out any further.

What I meant isn't that the world needs to be perfect. I think it is just neccasary that it begins to move. We have really been stagnant when it comes to problems like global warming etc.
I think I'd feel pretty guilty if I would push the problems that the world currently has onto a child in the way of "Well, my generation didn't do shit all, now you gotta face the consequences. Sorry but that's life." And no I am not an extremist when it comes to global warming, I just think it is worse than most diseases as it comes sneaking and slowly with "hidden deathcounts".

Global warming is a natural occurrence, and if it happens faster than normal it is no big deal, we will adapt, global warming is physically incapable of killing all of us, unless the world suddenly bursts into flames, wait no that still wouldn't kill everyone.

children?of course!!!!

but....only after i'm ready mentally,physically and financially.
i don't want my child to be neglected.there's alot of case where the rich parents neglegt their children because of work....

i want to avoid things like that at all cost.

i'm busy as hell now.i still get most of my money from my parents....and i'm not even married.

so not now.
but maybe later.

Children? No thank you. I'm the kind of person who clings too tightly to his problems that they eventually become other people's problems. The last thing I want to do is take a young boy or girl, trying to grow up and deal with their own problems, and inject their minds with my own dilemmas. By me not procreating, I'd like to think I'm saving a soul an unfortunate life. In short, I fear having children not because of the responsibility, but of the damage I might cause their fragile little minds.

(p.s. It's good to be back among the Fakkuza)

Maybe at some point. However I'm pretty sure my having offspring will be a sure sign of the apoccolypse.

Nah, I don't think so. The bills are frightening!
