i'd like to go out by saving a family/friend/lover
maybe something allong the lines of:
-pushing them out of the way of a car
-taking a bullet (and killing the guy who shot it)
-protecting them with my body from a explosion of some sorts
something like that would be a nice way to die 8)

Nope. Even while wearing a kevlar vest [iirc, it's been a while since I saw the Mythbusters episode], the shrapnel from a small hand grenade is still likely to cause serious bodily harm to a bystander.

True, but the others would survive, at least that's what I understood from that episode (been a while since I saw it myself). I could be mistaken.

Floating in space listening to Coldplay's "Everything's Not Lost" or Moby's "Porcelain" or Kool & The Gang's "Summer Madness" (Probably all three in random order) Looking out at the myriad of stars and stuff (cause where we are in the Milky Way we are behind a "dust cloud" of some sort so we actually can't see all of the Milky Way!!
