Nuclear power is fine, and resources propably isn't a problem. When we are out of uranium-235, which at this pace will take us quite awhile, I am sure we have learned to utilize other materials.
Nuclear-power may be the best energy source in the universe, fussion and fission.
There are atoms everywhere, they are full of internal energy, we just need to harvest it better. Since atoms happen to be everywhere where we can exist, there are infinite possibilities for nuclear power.
It would be foolish to say it is not for us to use. Should we humans master the art of nuclear-power, it will be worth it even if it takes a whole continent of radioactive wasteland deserts. Or maybe a whole planet?

it's not the case of using it or the scarce uranium-235 resource, man
it's the case of storing the reation-used uranium.
it cant produce atomic e animore, but its still hazardous
you can't just put it in the dumpster y know
you must put it at least 50 m from the ground so there is no radiation.

Thats what radioactive desert continents are for. It usually is America in films, but I suppose Australia would be the best, considering how much desert there is there and how remote it is.
It was more of a reply to Kais86, so yes, avaibility isn't really the problem.
