when is it breaking the law and when is it just pure fun?

i'm interested to see what you think?

It's breaking the law when the person being filmed has had their face filmed, by then the person is identified as an actual "Person" and not an object of attraction, and consequently must have to sign a waver for the use of their bodies. Otherwise, it's okay until you're caught.

I think it's not really fair, well.. that's if you're the one who has pictures or videos taken of yourself. Especially when they're put online. I mean, wouldn't it suck to find out someone spied on you and put images/videos online without your knowledge. Had that happened to me (Being a male, I doubt it will) I'd be so f*ckin' pissed and really wish to sue or something. I mean, it's wrong in quite a few ways..

Still, I admit that, I actually like watching videos... containing voyeurism..

Ah.. so many ways to look at it. I'll stop now though.

If we accept

Voyeurism is the sexual interest in spying on people engaged in intimate behaviors, such as undressing, sexual activity, or urinating.

as taken from Wikipedia, then I think watching people who want to be watched is the only category of "fun" voyeurism. Everything else is just creepy. Even if you do it for yourself and don't post pictures or anything, it's still creepy =).

imo
if you record it

Very simple for me.

When it's unconsensual, it's bad.

I don't have a problem with voyeurs but I'd never have the balls to have sex in public. I think if you do in front of a bunch of kids and such your over stepping your limits.

It's ALWAYS fun! Just like rape! ...er...i mean

SUPRISE SEX!

lol...jk srsly

i guess it's fun if it happens, but i've never gone out of my way to voyeur nor do i record or really condone it w/o the other persons consent.

@ed
public sex isnt really voyeurism i dont think, unless you are watching people have sex in public

Well I assume if your gonna watch a person knock boots they aint just gonna let you sit in their closet and beat off. Of course i could be wrong.

voyeurism is fun and not breaking the law,as long as the victim don't sue the voyeur.

when the victim sues the voyeur, then voyeurism is not fun anymore and breaks the law.
0
Like most things, it's only breaking the law if you're caught. =P

Seriously though.

It depends. If the person is "taunting" a person to watch I guess it is okay. Otherwise leave it be.

how about wanting others to see you doing said things... i.e watch you fuck. I've had girlfriends who wanted to try fucking in public places, where we weren't exactly seen but we had the chance of getting seen, is that the same thing?

you know whats up Elle.

It crosses the line (legally) when you record their face. When you are in public you have no privacy and should never expect any. There are cameras on you at all points in time. From when you are at the Bank ATM to your grocery store. To big brother government's "traffic cams". So there is no reason to be upset when a guy tries to look up a woman's skirt. You choose to wear it and you should have known that someone was going to take a peek.

I wouldn't want to set up cameras to catch people on film without them knowing, mainly due to the fact I would not want to be filmed without knowing and posted over the internet. Especially on places like 4chan.

Though consensual voyeurism is okay by my standards. If I'm with somebody and he wants to take pictures of me for his own personal use *shrugs* I don't care. Whatever floats his boat. However, he'd be a dead man if those pictures were distributed.
