Battlefield 3

wait...most of your kills come from guns, but you can't hit anything with them...you mean vehicle kills?

Also, my first 10 minutes of this game were spawning on a squaddie and dying five seconds after. Fun times all the time.

I have yet to see anyone capture an MCOM by destroying the building it's in. This is for two reasons. One, destroying buildings isn't as easy as it was in BC2. Two, the MCOM stations are rarely located inside a building, let alone a collaspable one.

I have seen only a few cases of base camping and vehicle stealing, but those occur largely due to the incompetence of the victimized team. If you actually have some sort of communication with your squad, they're hardly a concern. It also helps to spot said campers so that everyone else on the team knows their location as well.

In short, the tactics you've listed from BC2 are pretty much taken care of and can be easily avoided by playing smart.

OMG SEROUSLY? you mean these problems are taken care of so that when i jump over from bc2 to bf3 I won't have to rage through out the game cause of my teams incompatence to deal with these problems?

BAM!

Quick-scoping is possible, but the degree of skill is way above that Call of Duty 4 requires (because among all the CoDs, 4 was the only one with skill).

@Gaming: Pretty much.

I pretty much am going to miss collasping buildings with teh mcom station inside. it was one of the top things I did when i was teh attacker. just take a tank and blow out teh walls and roof. but if I have to give that up for better experince and less ragging. I can say that it will be wel worth it. but i am curious. in bc2 the mcom stations had rediclous amount of helth when it comes to attacking them with tanks adn c4. so have teh health of teh mcoms improved or are they the same as bc2?

You can't blow them up with tanks/etc., you have to plant to destroy a MCOM.

Don't get too excited, despite the improvements over BC2, there will still be plenty of moments when you'll be yelling at the stupidity of your team. For example, I've often found myself defending an MCOM station by myself against at least half a dozen enemy soldiers and an amtrac. The rest of my squad was too busy sniping to help, and everybody else on my team apparently didn't recognize that what might as well be an enemy mobile spawnpoint sitting right on top of our objective. So yeah, you'll probably be raging more at your own team than at the players that you're against.

Amen.

Team stupidity is at an all time high btw.

One flanker could easily give terrible buttfuck to such teams (like what I did, in pure humilating knife fashion).

I really love, when I successfully flank campers/snipers. In my case, I took a dead guys machine gun, with thermal scope then fucked them up when I sneak up from the side and flank them.

Ah i had a good round of Conquest today, i was on top of a building (i cant remember the maps name) and this enemy chopper came over head and one of the guys jumped out and parachuted on the room so i killed him and then the chopper looked like it coming to crush me so i pulled out my RPG and fired at it and it crashed i got a vehicle disabled and destroyed bonus and triple kill haha highlight of my BF3 career.

Is spotting important? or is it just a a nooby thing to do?
0
when someone spots a tank or chopper does it show up on the rest of the teams HUD? or is it just only on your HUD?

Spotting is the most important thing in BF3.

Only noobs don't spot. Every time i see an enemy i make sure to press the Q button. Often at times even if i've got a sure fire kill lined up, i'll still press the Q button to spot the enemy before i shoot him just in case.

Thanks for the tip. :D

I'm just worried that it's a nooby thing, since I once spent an entire round just spotting enemies. We won the round though.

If by rubber-banding and like that, no.

If by disconnecting, its pretty roll the dice TBH.

My rolls are good, so I haven't had any DCs.

Getting better now, Rnk 12 and, my average score per round is now between 1500-2000. K/D still 0.6. :D
SCAR-H is OP, why does it seems that they only need to shoot at me once to kill me...

Still can't log in to battlelog....
