But this raises a question who do you think would win in a battle of Nero vs Gil?

I obviously support Nero but if I were to think about it logically she is at a disadvantage in a ranged fight since she has no ranged attacks.

Well, I don't know much about Gil aside from what was established of him in the Fate route, so to that extent I have to say that she'd likely win in the end. She'd be pretty bloodied up, I'm sure, but she'd win.

Though he could cheese his way through most fights by just raining down a hail of swords, Gil is a classic villain, and classic villains always go toe-to-toe even if it's the dumber thing to do. Why? For the same reason they monologue for a half hour about how much they want to rape you before FINALLY making a move: they're overconfident.
One cool thing about Saber is that she's cocky and pompous, but she doesn't run from the sting of failure and loss she's felt in her past. That's why she'd win: Gilgamesh just wouldn't seriously admit to having any fault, whereas Saber not only admitted hers but corrected them.

I'd like to see the taunts at the beginning of that fight, though. Gil is a classic villain and Saber, though she's always insightful, loves to monologue too. Between the both of them I can imagine they'd never even get to fighting. Hahaha~

I Kinda doubt that, seeing what his Ea can do in F/Z and what is in its description here:Ea, Gil would be too much OP even for SABER,who might i remind you , also uses Reality Mable.

Well if we are accounting for personality in battle then Gilgamesh doesn't use Ea unless he finds you worthy enough while I will agree that its power is off the charts Ea wont hurt if it doesn't hit and as I said before you can get every stat on Nero to max rank which means her agility is off the charts making dodging possible or her capped defense she could attempt to guard herself.

And another thing sparda is her ability is like a reality marble not quite one.

'Aestus Domus Aurea: Golden Theater Swing (招き蕩う黄金劇場アエストゥス・ドムス・アウレア, ?) is the Domus Aurea, the theater designed by Nero and constructed in Rome during her lifetime, given form and reproduced through prana with a method extremely similar to that used by Reality Marbles. Rather than being a materialization of her inner world, it is High-Thamaturgy that only Nero, who believes without a doubt that before her status as an emperor she is "an artist who rivals Apollo" and "a chariot driver that rivals Sol", can perform. It is an "absolute imperial zone" which allows the owner to achieve their aspirations'

I didn't know her NP was like that! I just thought it weakened enemies and strengthened her, but this explains a lot, actually.

Huh. So then in this case with her NP, Saber is, quite literally, capable of accomplishing anything.

Yup and when used in conjunction with:

'Imperial Privilege (皇帝特権, Kōtei Tokken?) is an ability that, due the insistence of the owner, Skills that are essentially impossible to possess can be obtained for a short period of time. In cases when the Rank is above A, even the "burden to the body" is acquired (such as Divinity).

EX: (For Nero, the relevant Skills are Riding, swordsmanship, fine arts, Charisma, Military Tactics and others) '

Nero can do just about anything.

Well its as I said before Im cheering for Nero but Gil has quite the advantage in ranged combat and he has Ea. Im actually going to say they are even since it really depends on the situation. If they started at sword length Gil would get wrecked but if it was from a distance well.....who knows.

Yeah, if he caught her by surprise from a distance like he did that magician cunt at the end of the Fate route then Saber might get severely torn up (putting her choose-able stats aside, anyway). However, sword-vs-sword he'd just get utterly slammed. Let's not even go NP vs NP, because there's just no comparing there. I find it hard to imagine any NP could ever match Saber's.

Speaking of Fate/EXTRA CCC (we weren't, but we were close enough):
Forum Image: http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee477/Calista_Astra_Agent/fKcrl.jpg

As it turns out, the story for CCC is going to be totally different. Every character is looking to escape the Moon Cell as well, including Leo who's still got Gawain with him. Rin is no longer a genius hacker/magician but now is just a magician while Shinji retains his ominously brilliant hacker skills (trapped in the mind of an eight year old most like). In a mind-bogglingly strange turn of events, Shinji is working with the student council to escape.

Tell me about it! I really hope Aksys picks this one up, though I suppose that means at least a year of tentative waiting before such a decision is announced.

You think the protagonist will still act the same as they did in EXTRA, or will they get a darker persona to go with the darker outfit?
I think everyone will be pretty much the same personality-wise. It'd be kind of interesting if Leo became a partner character this time around like Rin and Rani was.

Though I have the sneaking suspicion that, with this premise, we might get our student council AI pal as a helping character, as well as...Shinji.

You usually hear about translations being done within 6-8 months so yeah im betting about this time next year.

I doubt the MC will change any at all since the lack of memory didn't affect thei personality apparently so why would a darker environment.

If they give Shinji a larger role many a rage will be had by me.

lol It'll certainly be interesting considering all the magic of the Holy Grail this time around is semi-technology based. She might be in way over her head.
Wonder what they'll do with Rani...

Well She might get influenced by the "Wrong Magi". Like How Gil did to Kirei.

Knowing that the release date's been pushed back, I'm finding a lot of sites that were planning to sell this are technically "Sold out/No longer in stock". The info from various sites are quite outdated before the news of the change of release date. If I remember correctly, the release date's pushed until winter. Even so, I'd still like to pre-order the virgin white box.

Anyone know when they're putting the pre-ordering up or any site that's just pre-ordering and waiting until winter 2012?

Sabers Praetor Unlimited Lewd Works
I pre-ordered my Virgin White edition on jlist awhile back so mine just got delayed until release date.

Mahoyo has no H content whether that will change in the later games in not mentioned since this is only part 1 of 3 they may decide to add some in later....not likely though.
