I know I can't wait to get it! Also I received my confirmation email saying that my copy of the limited edition falls within the amount they have stocked so I take it to mean there won't be very many copies...so if you intend to order the limited edition I advise doing it now.

Another topic is whose art would you guys prefer in CCC more Wada or Takeuchi?

Tendonitis sucks bro I borderline had it myself.

Personally, I'm more fond of Takeuchi's artstyle from his previous works. However Wada did a good job pulling off the artwork in the game. I love all of Wada's work in the Limited Edition F/E box's artbook. The women in there all look gorgeous; no question about it at all. Saber/Extra looked extremely beautiful in her bathrobe, Rin and Rani strutting their stuff.

All in all, people might be voting for Takeuchi for his direct relationship to the Fate/universe but Wada is an another respectable artist in my book. Hoping to look forward to more of Wada's artwork in the near future.

I wholly agree I honestly like Wada's work while I still like Takeuchi's work, Wada portrayed characters splendidly and Huke did good with the NP designs.

ALL servants in the virtual and real grail war retain memories of past wars there are some instances where they have forgotten like Archer in Fate/ Stay Night but in general they are able to recall. Prioritizing the Se.Ra.Ph is something unique to Extra but as its shown it is not completely binding should your servant wish to go against it.

I think you're wrong on servants memory part, I've read on many forum discussions and they said that servants that get summoned again are in a state same as when they were 1st summoned. If u were referring to Arthuria having her memories of the 4th grail war thats because she is a special case:

from Type-moon Wiki:
Heroic Spirits summoned as Servants are all copies of the "true body" stored in the Throne of Heroes, but she had not yet reached that rank. She instead is called in the form of "myself about to die." This makes her current incarnation unique among Servants because she is called from within the time axis rather than being copied from outside of the concept of time. She jumps forward or backward in time from the moment of her death, and returns to that moment upon obtaining or failing to obtain the Grail. Should she claim it, her time will flow again and she will die just as history has recorded. Should she fail, all her memories are returned to her body, and she can either continue her search for the Grail or cancel the contract should she find a reason.

She originally claims that she cannot enter spirit form due to Shirou's inexperience as a magus, but eventually tells that it actually has to do with her body. Due to not having actually died, she is classified as a living being despite being handled differently as a Servant. This also allows her to keep all memories of her search for the Grail unlike Heroic Spirits that don't allow for any inconsistencies in their memories. Upon learning new knowledge, the self that learns will disappear after their duty is complete. With the exception of Archer's ability to "read" outside records of his actions as a Counter Guardian, Servants would normally not have any memories if they happened to be summoned in two different Grail Wars, while Saber completely retains all of the happenings of the Fourth Holy Grail War.

Plus Gil was summoned as a clean slate again in Fate/Strange Fake.
Archer , coming from the future as we all know have memories of the 5th grail war , well cuz he was also a master in it.

I'll have to link you a page when I get home but I've proved that they do several times before. its sort of a loop hole in the explanation that lead people to believe that they can't. Couldn't find the link so will explain below.

"Fate/Strange Fake is an approved Fate/stay night fanfiction intended to be the introduction for a role playing style game by Narita Ryougo, author of Baccano. Not canon to the Nasuverse, the full text was originally posted to Narita's homepage under the title of "Fake/states night", presented as a prologue to a game as an April Fool's joke" - Quoted from wiki

Now to explain the main point after reading my post about them retaining memories I wasn't very specific which may have caused a misunderstanding so let me explain in better detail.

A servant is summoned into a vessel that acts as one of the servant classes when the war ends the memories do not remain with the vessel and are sent to the servant outside of the time axis. If the same servant were to be summoned it would be a new vessel for its specified class thus only retaining the same memory as the spirit recorded in the Throne of Heroes. Arturia and EMIYA are exceptions because they are counter guardians. So in short ALL servants retain their memories but their vessels do not.

I just wanna add on to your statement just to make things simple. Servants do have memories however that's when they are inactive [without a manifested body] in the HGW. When summoned, they acquire a manifested body however they will not remember their memories of the past HGW if they participated. Except for Saber due to her lusting desire for the Holy Grail. Because of that, she gets to participate in every HGW until she finally wins the HGW. That is also the reason how she is able to remember the past HGW (the 4th HGW proven so far [Kiritsugu's Servant]).

Replaying the Saber route should clarify things like now much more.

Well actually Arturia isnt restricted to the Grail War she is able to move to any point in time where an attempt for the grail is legitimately made however she van only manifest once per attempt and if more than one happens at the same time she can only choose one.

It's almost as if you're hinting the original HGW and the virtual HGW could happen at the same time in parallel universes. lol

Well here it another question: which HGW would better serve as the Holy Grail that King Arturia wishes for the most? The Holy Grail from the 5th HGW is a fake one, in all three routes. The one in the virtual HGW could be the Holy Grail, manifested by Se.Raph, which actually has the power to grant wishes, but they're are all in data (at least from the Protagonist). I'm not sure if data itself can can apply itself in real life. Dan Blackmore's wish was to
Spoiler:
resurrect his dead wife
Lil' Ronnie wishes for
Spoiler:
all of humanity to understand her, so she wishes for them to be like her.
Monji Gatou wishes for
Spoiler:
his servant to be a true deity/ a real force of the gods.
and so and so forth.

If so, would King Arturia's wish for the Holy Grail truly apply if the virtual HGW's victory was obtained?

My personal answer to this would be no, because mere electronic data can not change the legends and the history of any Heroic Spirit, nor could it do anything about their wishes and desires. And the virtual HGW seems to be more centered around the Master themselves instead of granting both Master's and Servant's wishes.

My little train of thought.

Actually Se.Ra.Ph. lets you see multiple parallel worlds/universes and let's you choose/pick/re-arrange the world from all those choices to re-make the world as you see fit.
On how i see it MoonCell is an alien version of Akasha itself.

Like sparda said the Moon Cell simply allows you to pick from the infinite possibilities the option you desire most which makes it imposible for it to help a servant unless one of those possibilities involves a time machine. And the moon cell being compared to Akasha is actually quite accurate and the SE.RA.PH is similar to the throne of heroes.

How's 'Err-body doin'?!

My wrists still hurt.
...A lot...
...But I'm still excited for the February release of CCC! Who here pre-ordered the Japanese edition because they just can't wait?

Also, I'm sure I've said this before, but I can't see how Aksys Games wouldn't want to localize this game. Have you see the company's marketing campaigns for Agarest? Both the tone of the game and the visuals are right up the company's alley.

I don't know how well Fate/Extra has sold, but I DO have sales figures I can't translate from Number-ese to English. If you guys can figure out if this is good, great, or shitty, don't hesitate to say:

Well from what I can tell the US sold .04 more units than Japan in the projected range so Im guessing thats good.....not quite sure since the charts kinda small and I broke my classes several months back.

And you already know I got my copy of the Japanese release.

oh also I went to my first con a couple weeks ago and bought a bunch of fate goodies I got a Saber, Bazzet, and Rider Neneroid. I spent a good chunk of cash on a Nero figure and bought a cellphone strap of Nero. I got a bag with Fate/Extra Rin on it and a promo deck for a Fate card game.

Where can you buy Fate/Extra - In the wiki page it says it's been released in PAL regions since May 2012.

But can't find it in my local GAME store. Any advice?

PSVita doesnt play UMD's so you would have to buy the game through the PStore.

Whereas you can buy the UMD through any online retailer.

Honestly so far the Vita is not worth it there arent any real good exclusive games for it. About the only thing that would make me buy it would be if the made CCC Vita only.
