Well, I'm living in Germany and my copy that I ordered online was shipped yesterday.. I have to wait at least 2 weeks for the game TT-TT

I just got mine today... right after I contacted Gamestop.

Quick delivery.... told me 2 weeks, got it in 1 day from the actual release date....

Playing the game right now ugh can't get past the 1st round several tries always so close just a bit more hp. My actual stuff haven't been shipped yet only processed.

What Servant are you using? I'm using Caster and on Easy (since Hard Mode always confused me for J/RPGs. Doesn't it just mean I have to grind more?). She certainly has a massive disadvantage so far, but after being semi-smart and pouring 17 levels worth of points into all her stats to at least get them all at D rank it's not so bad. Her magic is lifesaving.

Just finished the second round fight. The first round fight was fun and epic, but the last three seconds is what made it shocking for me. The entire ending sequence to the second round was just too moving for me, especially with Caster as my Servant. My eyes watered a little (due in no small part to the fucking great music!).

Maybe I can help, mate. Or if not me then definitely everyone's favorite VN and Eroge Discussion Moderator. They sound like a pro.

I'm using Saber right now but on my 6th try I finally was able to beat the 1st round could have done it in 5th, but accidentally mess myself up on one of last few turns.

I'm using Archer on easy mode , i like it when he keeps comparing the Extra counterparts to the F/SN ones.
Guys what did you name your characters on Jap version and on US version?

I wound up playing Saber 1st since I want to play them in the order listed im on normal mode but I cant find the other item on the 1st floor that has something to do with Sir Blackmore I got the one from the tree but says I need more

Picked up the game yesterday. All I can say is this game is actually really good.

other two, one is near of those sharkbites(fish head with jaws) and the other is in the second half of the map you know past the big square area with the other exit.

Yeah I was missing the one by the sharkbites for some reason the glowing object dint catch my eye but thanks anyway

Is it bad that I missed one of Taiga's request? I kinda forgot to trade the item I found in the arena to that one guy for the magazine (Taiga's request).. and saved. Kinda don't wanna replay the week and grind levels again.

You won't get your room decorated perfectly. which is just bummer type disappointment.

Just make sure you don't miss it again on your next playthrough. Otherwise, you cannot access the secret boss fight.

I have no idea what the fuck Aksys Games was thinking with this. Maybe it was like that in the original. Who knows? All I know is that it's stupid and horrible for people who are going in fresh. They really should've changed it to "Him"/"Her"/"they" or simply refer to them by their titles. Anyway, hope I saved you guys some grief.


My dude's name is Katsuro (victorious son) Hideaki (shining excellence). I only chose Katsuro because it sounded like a name that would realistically somehow end up with "Kitsune" as it's nickname.
Kitsune is fox in Japanese, and often it refers to foxes in folklore.
Guess which Servant I chose? Haha~


Yes and no. Story? Presentation? Music? FUCK YES
Combat? Well this blindfolded version of rock-paper-scissors gets on my nerves to no end.
-On that note, just finished the Rank 4 fight, and fuck them. Hard. I spent almost all night repeating that battle until I finally killed them. At least I managed to prove that even thought the mechanic is...ass (half the time)...there is more to it than dumb luck.
Check it: You might think that learning about your opponent does nothing for you once you see the "perks" you get (pretty minor considering the work you went through to learn all that crap). However, by learning the Servant's identity you also learn their personality, and you can figure out which of the rock-paper-scissors acts they'll abuse more.
Hint: Rank 4 spams the shit out of Attack and Break. Rank 3 uses Guard more often.
So, yeah, there is legitimate strategy involved (which I found was very lacking in the VN's story, actually), but it still gets teeth-grindingly annoying depending on your Servant's abilities and the opponent.
I use Caster, so...yeah. That should explain half my frustration.
Ah, gotcha. I missed one but luckily managed to get the one that nets me the MasterXCaster wall photo. HNNNGH!


Actually, I'm pretty much halfway through the game now and I'm starting to see where Saber Extra could fit rather intimately into the story of the game. After seeing some more plot, I'm starting to think Nasu chose her identity specifically for that. ...Maybe.
_Still doesn't change my opinion of her with that identity. Nothing with change that.

Is it just me or the plot fit better for the female protagonist? you know, that
innocent and clueless factor of the character . I named my character Minase Asahina , just a name i thought of when i was playing Persona 3 portable , and the funny part is after that i learned that the p3 male MC's "fan/official?"name was Minato Arisato which has the same initials, and Minase and Minato sounds too close . haha
Right now its mostly the name i use on nameable female protagonists on the games i play, both on RPG and MMoRpg.
