you can just go through all the gathering hall quests to get there and G rank's hall is at the top of dondoruma.
but the other downside is you won't be able to get any greater lifepowder,healing smoke and portable earplug that you can buy by trading some points in dondoruma village's anti dragon virus research since you'll need to do their npc quest.
well then,OFF TO G RANK HUNTING!!!!

alrighty then,i would like to share some of the armor sets that i've build after i've done with the required quests for trading specific materials.
FOG's Monhan 4G/U armor sets (reference sake for future Monhan 4 Ultimate play next year for future players).
G rank
1 sets:
Green Tetsukabura
an easy and slightly tougher sets for those who just entered G rank.
it's decent enough until G Rank Steve for it's def,high earplug,guard up and bomber at default.
Serirugiorosu AKA Steve
G Rank ver of the new Flagship Wyvern with it's Great Sword.
Steve's weapons is pretty unique even though it doesn't have any elemental damages because it can sharpen itself by rolling around.
and the highlighted skill in there is one of the "2 in 1" skill that's been implemented since Monhan 4.most of armors that has skills like that are only available if you're doing a Guild Quest. depending on what kind of quests they are,each guild quests has their own piece of reward for example:
Teostra LVL 120
Equipment Reward: Helmet Tri Series
Weapon Reward: Great Sword/Long Sword
the skill that's highlighted in Steve's set is the combined skill of Fencing and Honed Blade.
G Rank Azure Rathalos
every Monhan veteran already knows about this set.
except for a few skill changes from previous games.
the Great Sword that set's using is indeed Ceadeus but it's only can be obtained from Guild Quests. that GS is LVL 4(max) weapon with 1147 damage and 570 fire damage.these types of weapon and armor can only be crafted in Naguri Village,one of the villages that we'll visit in the main story.
the highlighted skill is a skill that when we make a critical hit,the elemental damage will highly increased at that moment.
G Rank Brachydios
G rank ver of the Tri G's Flagship monster set.
with it's Charge Axe of course.lol
Charge Axe is pretty powerful weapon that has exhaust/knockout vial in it.sure it's slower than Switchaxe when it's in Axe mode but if you're doing it right,you can easily murder them wyverns with no problem.
although you do need to be careful when you're gonna do it's 2nd charged blast because it's a straight AoE and could throw your teammates fly off.
G rank Chameleos
the Chameleon Elder Dragon has returned but only in G rank.
Chameleos in G rank in here is a bastard!
it tends to steal more of your stuffs and spam more poison than it used to in Freedom Unite.
like Azure Los set,it has the similar kind of critical attack but instead of elements,it's using status(poison,sleep,paralysis and blast) for the critical hit.
G Rank Teostra
the G rank ver of the Flame Dragon....which makes me wonder why Capcom put that ridiculous Bram Stoker's Dracuia Remake ver on a woman? a victorian look or something?
but nonetheless, i'm using it along with the Bug Staff.
i did made a similar set in High Rank using Atia arms and papimeru legs(that butterfly set from Freedom Unite) for this Anti Brachy,Teo and Tigrex Rare Species, using this sets,you'll almost have no problem dealing with them and can easily ride them because it has "Rider" skill.
for those whom wish to use the Bug Staff,be sure to save before you upgrade it.
because the most complicated thing about it,is to feed the bug that'll get specific essence from your target.
the bug that i've raised is the highest Impact type bug(the other one is Cutter Type) so when it's taking the essence in the head area,it also gives impact damage to the target so sometimes it's able to stun the target with ease.

Combined Sets

Gunlance is from the Flaming Crimson Fatalis that has Blast blight instead of fire.
is it just me or it does gives me a super robot looks with that set?
All Rounder Blademaster (Teo X + Ukanlos X)
gives me Attack Small,Fencing,Sharpness +1 and Critical Point by default with no charms or skill decorations attached. i just cranked it up by giving it Attack large,Speed Sharpening and that skill which gives us slightly undetected by wyverns.
GS is using Flaming Crimson Fatalis with 1000 Fire Damage.
i haven't made more specific sets like G Rank Lance,Light/Heavy Bow Gun,etc whether it's a 1 set or combined set yet.but if you guys have any request,i'll try making them so it'll be a useful reference when Monhan 4 U came out next year.
and if you guys need some High Rank sets before getting to the G Rank,i'll also post it since i have a bunch of them from my Monhan 4 gameplay.

after spending hours hunting in MH4G/U's Guild Quest,i've collected numerous pieces of armors with unique skills in it.the look alone is pretty random but the skills is what make myself got freaked out because i wasn't expecting that i'll succeed making it.
so....why it's broken even though it's only has 3 skills in it?
because all of those skills are compouned/combined skills made into one. a "2 in 1 skill" for easier understanding.
1st skill : Sharpness +1 & Attack (Large)
2nd skill : Evasion Up & Zinogre Z's Fullcharge
3rd skill : Fencing & Razor Sharp
that's the total def for the sets when i put them all together with no upgrade.
i kinda wished i had a GS for it but using a Switchaxe that helped the skill made it has 1614 damage with 420 water damage alone is enough for me.
