Super Smash bros. Brawl

One of the best Sonic vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSmWMVwMgRg

Once one has a grip on his speed, it looks like Sonic will be extremely good. Of course, just about everyone looks exceptionally good.

Snake has risen up the ranks of characters I want to play with. With motion-sensitive mines, C4, grenades, and mortars, Snake can effectively control the ground and mind-game his opponent. The C4 and mines can be used as traps or as a ground-based defense. The C4 can be dropped in the air and may land on top of the opponent. Snake also has a pretty good up B since he goes so high, can attack afterwards, and has super armor frames. just don't use his up B near the ledge, because a person can grab the cypher and make Snake go into a free-fall state.

The more videos I watch, the more excited I get. One month to go.

This is one of the only reasons why I want a Wii.

Agreed. That guy sure knows how to use Sonic, that was pretty smart of him using the edges. I think Sonic can keep pressure on anybody in a 1v1. Like holy shit, he was under the stage and just hopped twice and was safe! Anyone else in that situation would've just died.

Sonic is way too good in 1 v 1.

I sometimes read the comments since they are occasionally funny:
"Did Falcon get a lot slower?"
"No, Sonic is just amazingly fast."
"FALCON PUN- *get knocked off the stage*"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N5LwAGsv7s

Lucky's Sonic does something at the end that the other Sonic player could have done several times in his fight. It might become a mainstay of Sonic's aerial combos.

Edit: I saw all of the taunts ...
Spoiler:
Captain Falcon's godly taunts aside, the best taunts come from Sonic, Snake, Jigglypuff, Toon Link, and Luigi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlSxR3ebOzc&NR=1

Edit 2: Every time I watch PsychoMidget's Snake I get really pumped! Snake has that spike that can kick the opponent behind him and he's got that C4 and the mine. It's absolutely priceless watching Snake get killed, and only a few seconds later PsychoMidget sets off the C4 and kills the opponent.

There are quite a few bugs in SSBB actually, and hopefully they"ll be fixed before the U.S. version comes out or patched eventually.
So who heard about this "forbbiden 7" thing? There was a small bit of data regarding 7 dropped chracters worked on. They are :
Roy
Mewtwo
Dr. Mario
Dixie
Toon Zelda
Toon Shiek
"Pra_Mia" (Belived to be Plusle/Minun)

My theory is that they are either nothing or they"ll will soon be downloadable content since the file size is pretty small.

From what I've read on other forums, the F7 are data remnants of Brawl characters that didn't make the cut, or were never completed in the first place. People have already analyzed the file size, and while we may get some downloadable content, the character data of the F7 is way too small to be able to make the characters playable. Each normal character's data is split into over a dozen different files. The F7 are each a single file. So the data there means nothing.

Also, don't hope for downloadable characters. At best, we'll be getting downloadables that unlock certain assist trophies/pokeballs, like the strangely missing Sothe and Metagross and the rumored Rosalina. (I don't remember seeing her myself, but I did see the other two I mentioned.)

As for bugs, the worst I've seen is the 'infinite' jump with Bowser. Which isn't actually that bad. People have mentioned that patch files should be small, so downloadable patches are possible.

That's pretty much what I just said, but yeah no need to worry about the F7 whereas the files are too small to be made into downloadable characters.

Honestly I wouldn't care about downloadable characters as much, not like I've been yearning for them. It's just that it may be possible, so I theorized it, but it wouldn't be so likely for Nintendo to do so. As for the bugs they are kind of minor, but should be fixed. Not as if they"ll ruin anyone's gaming experience though.

I already pre-ordered it and am going to go pick it up on March 9th, the day it comes out in the U.S. It looks like a great game and i was kind of annoyed whne it got delayed.

Who didn't get annoyed by the delays? Anyway, I'll have to pick the game up almost immediately after it's released. Watching all those Youtube videos of Brawl in action don't really satisfy my appetite for the game, and they serve as a bit of a distraction, though that's my own fault.

Hooray it's March.

And I just got Apollo Justice to tie me over till Brawl comes out. Then it's straight into March break.

midnight release wooo. Is everyone going at midnight?

Yeah! We're in the final stretch! Unfortunately, it's slightly marred by the English voice acting. I doubt it will be too bothersome though.

It's not like they speak during cutscenes or anything.

Like I said, I doubt it will be too bothersome, but even still ... are all the voices from
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPuesnIp0VY
and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQOEHk9mhbI
really acceptable? To be honest, this is my first major disappointment, mainly because there is apparently no language switch option.

Okay, so maybe I'm exaggerating. Pit's and Pokemon Trainer's voices really annoy me. A single line from some of the other characters are annoying, but all in all I feel they are about what I expected.

*shrugs* I'm fine with the voices as long as nothing comes close to what Excel sounded like in the Excel Saga dub.

Wtf, some Sears were selling SSBB. Yes... Sears.. Really odd and out of the blue IMO. I'm like everyone else though, "meh I can wait", since it was available in some Sears stores and they had only like 10 copies.

yeah, sometimes that happens. Although, a week ahead of sale date is pretty big.
