Super Smash bros. Brawl

Actually, it turns out I was wrong. I thought you had to connect to the other players before the character selection timer ran out, when you actually can choose your character and preferred stage and then wait indefinitely on the practice stage. It still takes a while to connect, but it is certainly possible.

Damn amazon -_- my copy still hasn't got here despite it being estimated to arrive on the 15th. Here i am on the 17th and still no game T_T. i send an email complaining about it only to be told to wait until the 19th "just in case" <_< see if i ever preorder a game from them again.

You could always "borrow" it.

Oh, i'm already "borrowing" some of his games... besides, he likes brawl too much, a battle would surely ensue if i tried to take it :P

My FC for Brawl is 2570-3003-5468 and my nickname is "EHT" feel free to add me, make sure you tell me though.

Well, I finally got my copy of Brawl, and played it. I unlocked all the characters and all but four of the stages in two days. However, until I can optimize my setup, I won't bother putting my FC up since I'd lag too much. I did feel compelled to re-create the Hyrule Castle and Saffron City stages from Smash64 though.

Can I assume you haven't played previous Smash games? Yoshi's second jump should be enough to get back on the stage. Yoshi's Up B only provides a slight upwards boost, but it can be done a couple times before it is completely ineffective.

The last time I played a Smash game was when the original came out, lol.

Yeah there's a lot of characters with Up B's that aren't jumps.

Understandable ... anyway, if you or anyone else needs advice on using a character, you can ask me. I'm not an expert, but I'm very much a Smash veteran.

Your Wii code can be found in the Wii's main menu. You have to get to the message board and look in the address book, I believe. To find the Friend Code for Brawl, you have to get on Wi-Fi and check out your Friend Code list. Your Friend Code will be at the top.

Yoshi is pretty hard to use, but practice makes perfect. Ok, not perfection, but he's really fun and easy to use once you get used to him.

Finally! I managed to optimize my setup. I can play online without long pauses or pauses every other second.

My FC: 4897-5903-4574

@ purifier and David: I'm adding your FCs.

Edit:
I watched the video. It's just some basic stuff to keep in mind, although that is certainly a good Yoshi player. I've changed my controller setup specifically to RAR (aka Pivot Break) since Ike and Sonic have such awesome Bairs.

Edit 2:
David, you're FC doesn't add to my List. Did you get a new one, or is it necessary for the Wii to always be online to register?

Last Saturday was a good day 20 wi-fi matches undefeated. *most people on wi-fi really suck*. Well the really story is the next day I get my ass kicked by my friend. (11-2 matches T.T) After 5 hours of laying on my bed in shear horror, got back up and rematched my friend. I only had time for 7 matches.
Spoiler:
I won 5-2 Wolf your my favorite

Oh and on a completely different note....

Spoiler:
NARUTO DIES IN THE SHIPPUDEN MOVIE!!! YES IT'S FINALLY OVER THE SERIES FINALLY DIES!

If it's not too much to ask please post what character you use? I wanna see how many people use which character as their main.
