What VN are you playing? What do you think about it?

Well, some games have levels/bosses that are unbeatable for plot purposes. That was just one of them; really nothing to fret much about. I was more pissed about the Dash delay than that to be honest.

What I want to know, is why Yin Yang X Change 2 has been out for years, and is still not translated or anything. I been waiting for long time, hell who do I have to pay to have it correctly translated so I can play it. Cause I seriously will.

Because No one is translating it. No one is obligated, simple as that. And That is the main reason, I rather learn Japanese than wait for someone to translate something.

I cant wait, so I started WA 2 without eng patch, just machine assisted (since ATLAS was so bad I might as well go wothout it). This taking really long; I need about 10-15 minutes just for 1 line. Hopefully I'll get used to this faster.

The only one of interest (unless you're a fan of Love/Comedy main theme then HURRAY! YOU GOT YOUR FIRST BATCH OF NEW VNS!) is the one from 'light', but I haven't forgotten how... TEDIOUS the writing can be, and how philosophical. Dies Arae and Zero Maxwell scared the shit out of me - which means I'll have to pass. Heck, I'll even read one of the Love/Comedies that I find interesting than that. >_>

Looks like the 3rd is not that dark, but who knows, the 2nd one pointed a gun to your head at the very end.

And No it's not milking. To correctly "milk" a series is to keep on rehashing/reusing/remaking a very popular IP.

One example is actually one of my favorite, which is To Heart 2. They keep on porting the series through many medias, To Heart 2 itself is available for the PS2/Ps3/PC/PSP with minimal changes. Then there's the Spin-offs.
Another Example is Majikoi, with it's sequel and character spin-offs.

Omega star is just releasing stories under the name of "Bishoujo Mangekyou" which mostly sells atmosphere and the beauty of the story, and each title has almost no connection besides it's being told by one person as the story teller.
In comparison, their series is similar to the Science Adventure series from Nitro+.
So, to really call it milking, Omega Star, in their case needs to start reusing characters just because that character is popular. Quality of the story is not a focus as it will only be to differentiate between good milking or bad milking.

Oh good, Es;Cude announced 2 VNs at the same time. Looks like the gameplay for both of the games are almost identical, and bears similarity to Akatoki, with each damage, clothes will get ripped lol.

Finished Baldr Sky: Zero. Despite the better impression that Fran's route left on me (well it took FOREVER to get into her pants which lasted for five seconds), I still have serious problems with Baldr Sky: Zero and I'll wait for Baldr Sky: Zero 1.5 2 for a complete opinion.

Finished Jupiter's Knot, quite literally a miracle among VNs, pretty sad how I missed it's glory days so it'll be scarce finding people who are willing to geek about it with me and it's now responsible for Dysfunctional Systems shooting up to #1 in my priority list...after Majikoi A-3

School Days. It's good, but a lot of endings

Replaying Muv-Luv Alternative for the third-fourth time.

Last time I touched it was two years ago. D:

Bishoujo Mangekyou Chapter 3 is a disappointment in so many levels.
It's way too short, and it's basically just Renge messing around with Haru's Boyfriend.

There's no need for spoiler warning, it's just too short and simple.
So, the story's main theme is Baka-Couple and Renge's irritation seeing those kind of people. The Story is told By Renge through the POV of Haru's Boyfriend Souta. Haru is one of the female workers for the inn that the main character "Fukami Natsuhiko" is staying. So the story happens at the same location and just as Natsuhiko arrived at the inn. Basically Souta visting Haru at the Inn because it's her birthday. But they're lovey-dovey act sorta irritates Renge and Souta can actually she her.

So, the gist of the story, Souta loves Taking photos, have sweet love with Haru, while being haunted by Renge. I do get spooked a bit every time Renge haunts Souta.
The Ending is quite funny with Renge taking the last laugh.

But that's just it, it's just lacking in content. and to makes thing worse it only has 3 H-scenes... >_>

Just did a 48 hour marathon on the two Tokeijikake no Ley-Line novels, and I've got to say that was a pretty fun ride. Every character was quite loveable even if some of them are pretty weird (>>> Fuhito <<<), and the story itself was pretty entertaining even if it isn't a masterpiece. Sadly the character routes were pretty lacking, but I guess it can't be helped due to the plot structure. Really looking forward to the third episode, I wonder why isn't there an announcement yet...

My current VN is Shinigami no Testament, and so far I'm pretty unsatisfied with it. The writing just doesn't sit well with me, and to me the protagonist feels like a cool looking idiot which is just stupid. Additionally, Ayumu's voice is so god-awful its the second time I threw in the towel and shut off her voice, its too unbearable. But the other heroines are quite ok, and I need a chuuni VN to read, so I'll just go along with this. Hopefully I can just skip Ayumu's route.

--Kai. Well I saw the H-CG set and I "pulled back" my interest on that VN. Also, some CG have silly neck proportion. Probably gonna wait for the 4th installment.

Gonna pick AtelierKaguya's Baku Ane, not in mood for serious VNs lol.

Baku Ane takes longer than the average nukige to properly get into someone's pants, using the master save tactic, and that's pretty bad considering nukiges thrive on fast sex. The voices are questionable, when you advance too quickly the same background noise, moans, yells, etc. will loop from the beginning which can be funny but annoying nonetheless. However it's pretty funny at times and sells in the erotic department pretty well.

Not bad thus far, but I still think nukiges are outdone by OVAs in terms of a quickie.

I decided to start playing Saya No Uta before I went to bed tonight. When the VN's first started up it asks if it should blur any of it's grotesque images. Now I can't tell if I'm playing still because it's really good or I'm too terrified to go to sleep. This game is diffidently not for the faint of heart, or for people with an unstable distinction between fantasy and reality (such as myself). I'm probably going to have nightmares and an unstable frame of mind for the next few days (or years). However, it's totally been worth it so far. On another note, I love the games soundtrack as it's eerily fitting to the game itself.

Despite the terrifying nature of this VN I'd still recommend it.
