Wait... so she bullied him because she was looking out for him? He loves her? He is okay with everything about his father just after that?
Well.... okay.
Yeah have to agree. This ending seems almost like a “change of heart” especially with all the build-up leading to it. I too was hoping for more angst and angry sex, culminating in a climax that ends with more questions than answers.
"What we've got here, is ... a failure to communicate." - Truer Words were never spoken regarding this story. Perhaps they could have resolved everything in five pages or less ... but then, there'd be no five-part series to follow.
A Vanilla filled finale, the best way to send off a nice series. Not to mention, they built this up for 4 chapters, and what we got for it was...Pretty nice. I feel that they could have made it longer or showed us more, considering the long buildup. Like, it felt like their relationship got resolved a little quickly/easily considering all that happened in the previous chapters...But at least we get an explanation. Also I do love me some sweet Vanilla loving so I'm not complaining. He managed to finally confess he loves her, and he also found out that his father does love him...I like happy endings. That ending though. For him to still want to confirm that it wasn't because his father paid her to or ordered her to...Yep, he really is dense. But hey, they have their whole future together to fix that.
Honestly, this series gives Nisekoi and Gamers a run for their money in the "misunderstanding/miscommunication" (or lack of communication) category. And it was only 5 chapters long lmao.
Well.... okay.
