episode 11

Spoiler:
Finally Kagetane is back. I honestly think it would be awesome for Rentaro to side with Kagetane. Ultimate duo.
I would like to see what everyone else's reactions would be to see Kagetane and Kohina with Rentaro.
We got 2 episodes? left. Hope to see more action.

Rentaro elopes with a gay-zombie robot rather than his band of cosplaying wives. I should have seen this coming.

Spoiler:
Meh Kagetane's going to backstab Rentaro to do some sort of silliness with Pleides or he's just going to screw with him(figuratively, hopefully) but at the very least they'll make it a good show.

BTW, anyone knows Kagetane' Promoter ranks? I don't think he had said that before...

134 when he was working for the civil service agency.

Hoo, he's lower than Tina. Well, I can understand that. Thanks~

Lol, Hakumen is a zombie, too (I know about the other two only)?? Eh, but as a 'pure justice', Hakumen lacks of lunatic mindset and behavior, which makes Kagetane cooler in my view (though Hakumen is more intimidating, ahue).

Spoiler:
Hakumen=Jin Kisaragi+Yukianesa="coolest", it was a three-way joke.

Upon entering the Azure with Terumi he died and was rebuilt into a lower state, later Kokonoe fished him out of the Azure in parts of his original form.

Anyways, 2 more eps to go? Hope they'll throw out Season 2 or something if that's the case... (kinda doubt it, actually)

I kinda wish they won't pull out a second season. Judging by the way things are progressing at mach 2, I really hope they don't. Anyway,

Spoiler:
So Kagetane is teaming up with Rentarou eh? Though like others said, he will definitely put Rentarou in a bad situation. One funny thing throughout the episode was that scene where the platoon leader was holding his initiator's hand, and I was thinking,"Welp, he's broken."

Spoiler:

Not sure if this was mentioned somewhere in the anime before (hopefully that it was implied somewhere as my memory isn't that good), but I think that while civil officers are indeed in charge of exterminating Gastreas which of course the public knows, what the public didn't know is that these Cursed Children are helping them as well. Things would go out of hand should this be known to the public due to the fear of the Cursed Children.

And for the question relating to why the public is against the co-existence law, remember the corrosion rate stuff some episodes back? Well, think of it this way. Seitenshi-sama is trying to let a group of girls who're bound to be Gastrea soon to live within society. Like people against absurd government plannings, of course they'd oppose it. During those 10 years of struggle, probably some of the Cursed Children ended up as Gastrea too soon, killing off some people close to them. That could be false. However, the fact that they have the Gastrea gene in them is undeniable, carrying a part of a monster within them. Hence the fear of the general population, like that girl in the current episode whose mom abandoned her because she was scared of her red eyes. We've seen how Kayo (Dolphin initiator) was about to turn into a Gastrea, though in actuality, the Gastreas' attacks were the catalyst to the corrosion rate but that rate is still rising regardless. And of course, Enju's corrosion rate is about 7% below the threshold before she becomes a Gastrea herself. Anyway, the whole thing in summary is that in time, these girls will end up becoming Gastreas anyway.

Nobody in the right mind would want a monster-in-the-making to be roaming on the streets, never knowing when they'll start turning into something morbidly terrifying and start making people splatter their own blood on the nearest wall or floor. We've seen that that was the case with Kisara's grandfather, who'd summon a level 5 Gastrea just to ensure that the law doesn't pass. That showed his dedication due to the fact that a Gastrea killed most of his family.

Thank you for answering my question, this helped a lot.

Reading this I think of the debate over gun laws and regulation being contorted (there's no discussion) in the US...

..He..Hehe looks like the c-c-cat's outta the b-b....
Spoiler:
FUCK they killed the Kemonomimi. Someone will pay for this. Pretty well done scene despite being hamfisted, however the time allotted was so small it would've been hard to accomplish what they did with Midori. Kagetane is still fumbling around with Rentarou's zipper but now it looks like Rentarou's opted to look him in the eyes while he's doing so and he's letting his wives watch too. Ofc that little prick from the Tina arc has to stick his runty little nose into their business again because god knows that some harebrained lout thought it was smart to let a maniac that tried to murder government officials during the assassination of the president to fight in a war that determines the lives of thousands of people WITH the people he tried to kill. There needs to be extenuating circumstances behind this.

Spoiler:
Rentaro reminded me of Shu from Guilty Crown when he became leader.
Of ccourse that guy had to go ruin everything. I didn't really mind Midori but still a little sad shes gone. I want see more of Kagetane and Kohina action.

Spoiler:

I'm convinced that they did that just to make Rentarou seem tough, him stabbing that guy was very out of character and the justification behind doing so holds on shaky grounds. Maybe the LN did a better job of describing why he did that.

So I've experienced both good times and bad times this week.

Spoiler:
This is one of those bad times. My kemonomimi loli Fuse...

Other than that, I felt that the whole thing's rushed throughout the episode, not that it's the first time but it's pretty hard to not notice it. Ah well, the final episode is coming in a few days, and Rentarou will be in trouble for sure. I wonder what sort of deus ex machina stunt he'll pull out this time.

LAST

Spoiler:
Another good person dies... Well, figures after his pair's death.

So I was mistaken in the point of Rentaro-Kisara relationship. At first, I though they can only be separated if Kisara dies, now it might be doable if Rentaro fails to bring her back to the 'light' side again (I'm not reading the LN, so dunno about it). Although, I still believe that Rentaro views regarding Enju and other Cursed Childrens are of love of care, not love of romance, unlike his view to Kisara (again, I might be off since I'm not reading the LN).

Final say; good show, but now I doubt it'll get another Season ever, with such ending and all...

Spoiler:
Well I actually agree with Kisaria-sans mentality. If Rentaro actually killed that corrupt body guard who shot Tina, the Batteries wouldn't be in a lake.

Overall Good basis for an anime, but execution and killing of loli's nets this an average 7/10

The moment Kisara gets something going for her is the moment the show goes belly up. Eh it was alright.

Spoiler:
"It's because I am 'evil'."

No. Just no. That's a terrible way to proclaim yourself as the villain. Again, if they had properly devloped her character while not making her background story as vague as possible, people wouldn't be so outraged by the sudden change in her personality, which I didn't mind actually. And there goes another hopeful character. Shouma had to fix the shit Rentarou made. Kagetane is strangely not himself at one moment...or it might just be me thinking that way. At the end, I expected Rentarou and Enju to check that fatal accident out. Instead,

"This anime ended with an adult man crying on the lap of a 11 year old girl."- MAL user

Though Yanagi Nagi made that scene 0.1% better.

I am just glad that this anime's over. A second season might be unlikely, but a remake of the anime adaptation is even more unlikely.

Niggas, I don't care what anyone says but I really liked this anime. Hoping for a season 2.
