Girl's perspective: Porn & Hentai are made by guys for guys mostly, so women have a tough time finding something worth reading/watching. I prefer hentai manga because at least the characters get developed and you get to read what they are thinking- motivators- and see the guy come inside her. That is more appealing to women than porn (consisting of women faking orgasm and pandering to a camera angle rather than what would actually feel good). This whole porn cumming on face thing is insulting/degrading toward women (and says about the guy that he's been dumped on by women, so he now feels a need to dump on one back), but in hentai it really looks more like enthusiasm- so I think it is more acceptable. Showing the guy cumming inside seems more intimate and less like some psychological need for retributing from being rejected by women in general.

Also, you may call porn women slutty- but frankly they just make me sad! I think "what reduced this woman to be in this thing? She's a daughter, sister, or mother!" What low self esteem, addiction, low rent living drove her to get screwed by this gross out random guy (and not well, btw!)? And the porn guys are 99% of the time UGLY! They are picked because they can keep an erection (or maybe the director's sweaty unemployed uncle?) and NOT for looks! I like to see a man's face and a good looking one at that. Unfortunately, hentai doesn't really focus on that either, so at least with hentai I can get a general idea of the guy and he doesn't look like some bum retrieved from the gutter/former IV drug user like in porn. ewwww!

It really just depends on my mood at the time. Very rarely do their intermingle. I'm usually in a hentai mood or a porn mood usually for weeks at a time. Lately I've been in a hentai mood and have been downloading and fapping to h-mangas left and right, but likely in a couple more weeks I'll be shunning hentai again for awhile. And thus the process will repeat.

I also prefer a still picture to a moving one, so in that aspect hentai has an advantage.

usually depends on what got me wanting to fap in the first place. if it was say an episode of Kissxsis then its hentai. if it was something with RP then its RP porn.

Hands-down, hentai is the only way to go. Better storylines, characters you may or may not know (like anime characters), and nearly impossible sex scenes made alive. Porn loses in every way.

I like real porn but only when I'm in "heat" the rest of the time I like hentai. I find the industry as a whole amazingly interesting and Im kinda disappointed that its hard to find interviews with porn stars (both genders). That said the cum on your face thing is something I still and will always dislike about real porn. If STD's were a myth I would totally work in the adult film business as an actor. The way it is right now I think I would rather be behind the camera. If I had the money I would get in contact with an adult actor/actress and chat. From the stuff I have read/watched about real porn it seems that everyone will get herpes at one point or another and there is a STD screening process that all actors/actresses have to do. (I'm not totally sure on the details of that and whether it is EVERYONE or just people with certain studios). That said I think it takes a certain kind of person to work in porn.

(Addressing previous posters that I didnt want to waste space quoting): There are misconceptions surrounding adult actors/actresses and there are some actors/actresses that fall perfectly into those. Just because someone is paid to have sex in front of a camera doesnt degrade or glorify anyone. The viewers and general public do that.

The plot, characters, and art style of hentai provide a level of immersion rarely found in "real porn" and, like some others have said, create a world of pure sexual fantasy and wish fulfillment. Most of all, the girls are absurdly hot and faptastically perfect - something about them just pushes all my buttons.

It appeals to me so much, like I suspect it does for many, that it serves as something more than just the satisfaction of a base need but becomes an interest of its own. Browsing, watching, chatting about, and fapping to hentai is, for me, a fun thing to do on top of way to get off.

Think This, every girl in hentai is customized by its creators to be 100% suitable for an audience's tastes. A porn director has to make do with what he has. You don't see Victoria's secret models lining up in the porn industries do we?

I was done with porn the moment I found hentai. After that porn just seemed like some cheap BS that always leaves you with a stinging feeling of self hatred when youre done.
