I've been listening to cash albums lately.

The only thing I've really been listening to is all the Utsu-P albums, Japan needs more metal and rock instead of the girly pop all the time.

I heard Chance the rapper and Death Grips might release another album this year. Chance had a good ass intro to Acid Rap.

Other than that i don't know any album that will release this year.

Plagues of Babylon by Iced Earth is the first big album that came out this year for me, I've been listening to it a lot. Other than that, just mostly random electronic stuff.

I have finally heard some 2014 stuff.
After the Disco by Broken Bells, it was good but not better than their first album.
Rave Tapes by Mogwai, it was Okay but meh
The Unnatural World by Have a Nice Life, didn't like it that much, but maybe I'll give it a second chance.
And that's all for the moment I guess.

OT:
I pre-ordered the new VOCALOUD 01, so besides waiting for that (I can't wait to hear the crossfade; Yuyoyuppe doing Only My Railgun!!!) I've been listening to a lot of Foreground Eclipse (Each And Every Word Leaves Me Here Alone) and Utsu-P. Here's my past seven days:

Waiting for Blink 182's new album as well as Pennywise's new album.

I've been listening to a couple things I missed from last year.

Top of that list would be an album called Fire at Zero Gravity by 40 Below Summer.
They were broken up last I knew, which explains why I completely missed the fact that they had reformed and came out with another album. It's fuckin good as well.

Another would be an album called Labyrinth by Fleshgod Apocalypse. To be honest, I preferred their earlier style of technical death metal, as opposed to their current releases that have been symphonic death metal. Both are good, I just prefer the former.

As for things I'm looking forward to this year so far, word on the grapevine is that Fear Factory should have another album out sometime early this year. Always look forward to their work.

Next, Scar Symmetry should have one coming out sometime this year as well. It's titled 'The Singularity, Phase 1: Neohumanity'. Apparently they're going to move into concept albums, and this one is the first of a trilogy, should be pretty good.

So far, the best song I've come across is Zomboy. It's dubstep, and I'm quite fond of it.

Haven't gotten around to go and get Iced Earth's Plagues of Babylon (lack of money atm) but look forward to it.

Tried to listen to Nothing - Guilty Of Everything (shoegaze) but they sound to much like MBV. Meh, alright I suppose.

Todd Terje - It's Album Time
It has a very nice 80's groove. But I got bored of it relatively quickly.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
It had some really good tracks. A big thumbs up.

Xiu Xiu - Angel Guts:Red Classroom
I wasn't a fan of the vocals. The instrumental was alright not my thang though. Final rating: meh

Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra - Fuck Off Get Free We Pour Light On Everything
Sometimes I like this type of music. Sometimes I don't. This album does what you expect it to do. Not something I would give a second listen to - but overall really good.

The VOCALOUD 01 album was really enjoyable. Moonlight Legend is my favorite track.
