Magic the Gathering

Anyone play MTG on XBL or PSN? I'd like to give it a go, since it's probably my only option of playing this game, but I'm wondering if it's worth that amount of money to get it on a console.

I have a pure blue deck, but it is no longer tournament legal, since all the cards I have in my possession are from the older expansions, such as Urza, etc.

Likewise, if anyone lives in the same region as myself, although highly unlikely, it would be fun to meet up for a game or two.

I've played the demo, if that counts... You only get to use a monowhite equipment deck or monogreen mana ramp deck, but even in the trial version there's some good fun to be had. I've wanted to buy it, too.

EDIT: Learned my foil Temporal Mastery was worth a more hefty sum than I first thought. After bringing it in to play with my former teacher at high school and some of his students, he told me a range it was seling for (around 45 to 60). So, I traded it in for almost $50 worth of store credit at the card shop I go to, and got a good chunk of stuff for the EDH deck I was building.

Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the world. ^_^;;

But fret not, if fate has it, our decks will cross paths someday.

My brothers play all the time, it looks complex.

It's fairly easy to pick up. I was able to understand the rules quickly enough. But the different mechanics can be complex, they make new ones every set or so, change the wording every now and then, so sometimes it's hard to keep up.

My brothers buy the $100 box sets when the new cards come out, they mae me go in the shops and buy it for them too!

but yeah i gave up olivia EDH and am now using skullbrair (green/black aka golgari). yea he's freakin nuuutz!!!! fear him foolz!!!!

That's mean... If they want the cards, they should go get 'em themselves.

i have no respect for the goodness of blue/white trollness,lol. it's just too good, >_< (i kno, i used to play it). i'd probably just auto-scoop to prevent frustration, lol.

Lol, he is? Haven't been up against him yet. He does have a nice ability, though.

blue/white in general is really good at trolling; it just stops EVERYTHING. blue's countering and stealing with white's exiling and field wipes = nobody's having fun anymore.

And, it's for for me. I get to decide what the goes on on the battlefield when it involves me. Stop spells before they're even cast, make threats to me harmless, nuke the field to make everyone start at zero again.

all the time. my commander was sen triplets (just because i couldn't find a zur for some odd reason), and i used the black for tutors.

...if any loses life in anyway, you can kill as many people as you like (you'll gain life when they lose the life, meaning you can make someone lose life, which makes you gain again, which makes them lose life again = infinite) that was in my olivia deck, but i didn't like it cuz olivia was painfully irrelevant in the long run...

Ohohoho, yeah, I'm building that deck already. I just need Sanguine Bond and a couple more creatures. The card shop I go to is outta Sanguine Bonds, though...

It'll be glorious and hilarious. It's a cheap deck, too, both CMC-wise and money-wise.

What deck is the most current? Like I have posted here before, I'm WAY behind in keeping up with MTG. I'd like to know because I feel the urge to start playing some MTG again.
