PS 1 for me got hooked to FF series because of it -.-

why is it that people with no display pictures can never write truly coherent sentences?

simple, because they're either new or not used to these stuff
well that's the case for me though

Oh God... Nintendo... well, that and the Super NES would have to tie in first place for me. Had the Gameboy too but never got too many games for it.
I STILL enjoy some old 8 & 16 goodness even nowadays. Love when I get a game that I couldn´t beat in those days (Frustration rising) and FINALLY finishing it (Smugness rising). Thake that, Captain America, Double Dragon III and Batman!!

I'm actually fond of both the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Genesis. I played NES at my grandpa's house when I was young. He owned Punch Out, the Super Mario Brothers, and a whole bunch of other games. Me and my bro eventually got our own and had only one game Super Mario Bros. 3 and then the system died. So next in line was the Sega Genesis with a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the first video game I ever beat. Good memories.

Ahh, the memories with sega genesis. No other consol beats that!

Super Nintendo. Super hard choice, though.

Super Nintendo had secret of evermore, chrono trigger, secret of mana, and stunt race fx.

However, in a close second, play station 1 had crono cross, legacy of Cain, soul reaver, and alone in the dark new nightmare. Very close call.

I vote Nintendo, simply because it was my first console, and the oldest on the list (as far as I know, never had the Virtual Boy, but all the rest). Gotta love a PC, I can get ROMs for nearly all my favorite games of the past.

My favorite console is Nintendo Entertainment System, i grew up with that, and still working after 24+ years of "Torture", but my Xbox 360 dies by RROD after 1 year of normal playing.

Its because I had a dreamcast I chose it but I dont think anything beats gamecubes Zelda The Windwaker.

I live in a country where 20 years ago there wasn't any gaming consoles...
So PC all the way! Then, now and in the future PC will always be the way to go for all my games! (Seriously, who aims a gun with some stick?)

Being a 90's child, the N64 was the first system I actually owned, but the original was what sold it for me.

Sunset Riders for Super Nintendo, played that shit all day.

Gameboy RULES! Heck, I even remember beating my first ever game on it. So many games that brings back good times. Even until now, I'm still having difficulty finding a game that makes me much sentimental as I used to be with all the gameboy titles. One of my all-time fav is the Megaman Battle Network series.

gameboy definitely. without it, i would not be the gamer i am today

Shouldn't PS2 count as old-school by now?

I haven't played too much of Nintendo, PSX games made my childhood.

I'd probably have to say PSX. Just a ton of classics and some of my favorite games were released on it. I did have the Nintendos, the Genesis, GameBoys, etc. But in the end I can find so many of my favorites on that one system. That was such a big system for me as a gamer.
