Well the first act is about getting close enough to one girl (basically picking a path to follow), and if you don't get close to one then you get Kenji instead. I got him on my second run when I was trying to get Lilly (my first run resulted in Emi; I tried to pick the choices that I would have really done)...then I realized that there are a number of choices that can cut off your routes. Some of them are obvious, but others are not so obvious (for example if you told Kenji that Hanako wasn't cute, the Lilly/Hanako route is not available. how weird). My advice is to pick choices that seem to agree with the girl you want to pursue (like pushing hard on the track with Emi), but I'm not going to tell you anymore so you can get the full experience!
By the way, has anyone managed to get the game to full screen mode? There's an option for it, but it doesn't work (faded out and all). I'm on a Macbook pro, so I'm not sure about other ways to full screen the window...
I was trying to get Hanako's route, but damnit I didn't get anyone.
And seriously, WHY KENJI!? I know I did something wrong but the game just punished me way too freaking far! ARRRRGHHH!
Thats the second time I got a bad ending on my first try ;_;

Hanako would be my 2nd choice. She would've been in close contention for the #1 spot for me if it weren't for the fact that her arc was too short... I think she needed a little more development and growth by the end of her arc.

Rin's route is gold for me.. I dunno why but I love a girl like that. Maybe because I'm lost in life as well...
On the other hand.. Emi's route was the first route I got into (not counting Kenji's/death route) and while I can't say I didn't enjoy it... the anal part kinda felt repulsive
