It doesn't really matter anyway, even if they monitor it there will still be getting away with things, governments can never stop hackers even when they try. Any government would just cock it up anyway, plus it would be a waste of money when they could be spending it on things that matter more.

Shes Right!
They wouldnt be able to stop anyone
Unless its something very important to
the government.

New Topic: Capital Punishment

Ok I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else on the forums so here it is:

What do you think of Capital Punishment? Should it be nationally enforced or should states keep the right to govern with how they want to deal with murder? Should those who murder others in cold blood be sentenced to death or be given another punishment? Should it be left up to the people with how they want to deal with murder? Should there be retribution or none at all? Note that from what I said about the states, this isn't limited to the USA only. I want to hear what ALL of FAKKU thinks of the idea itself.

Depends on why they murdered.

I believe if someone has been condemned to Capital punishment, we might as well make use of their bodies. It sounds twisted, the person in question is dying anyway, why waste a perfectly good specimen. Or we could through them into a sort Deadman Wonderland type of prison. And even make a game show or something out of it.

Why not try something like this?

I agree with you up to this point. Then again I don't really think people who aren't doing something to permanently preserve their bodies should be allowed to not donate them for the good of others.

I don't really know how I feel about capital punishment though. On one hand it's a waste of resources to keep people in prison for their whole lives and kinda cruel too. On the other hand there's always mistakes and they could occasionally be innocent and then you just killed an innocent person and then how are you any better than other murderers?

I just wanted to apologize for Elfen being a idoit lately. I will talk with about not posting in here unless its about the topic and hes contributing something to said topic. You guys don't randomly jump in on our conversations and we should show the same courtesy. Once again I apologize on his behalf and again if I have disrupted your conversation.

I agree with capital punishment as long as there is certain and irrefutable proof. There are far too many people framed for crimes such as murder.

You don't really have to apologize for him, you aren't him and I at least don't hold you (the RS) as a group personally responsible. (If you couldn't tell my comment in response to him was somewhat of a joke.)

Still he hasn't made the best decisions lately. That completely pointless MK3 thread comes to mind. I don't want people to dislike us in the RST so I try to put a good image forward. Some of our members couldn't even use the IRC if they wanted to.So the last thing I want is for people to think bad of us.

I think it really depends on if it was premeditated murder or not. Those that occur out of the heat of the moment should spend the rest of their lives reflecting on that moment. But those that had planned out murder should be put to death.

I agree, and when you factor cases of temporary insanity into the equation, it supports your argument even more.

I realized that, you have no right in pointing out reposts as you have done so many a times. I could've done the same thing and but I chose to instead post the same picture I used in that discussion for this thread.

I think if you have the guts even if only for that moment because of insanity you should still be put to death for it. I also think that their should be hard proof that they did it.

If someones found inexplicably guilty of murder, like OJ inexplicably, then that person should be given the death penalty regardless if it was premeditated. And the government should have all rights to that persons body to do whatever with it they wish.

As you've said, they have to be quite sure. I agree with captial punishment but it has a certain risk. There have been cases where someone has served more than 10 years with more to go found innocent because of newfound evidence and are released... Imagine if a person that was put to death is found innocent few years down the line...

Ok it's clearly time for a new topic.
