What was your first VN/Eroge game?

Guess it was "Idol's Galore"

I rent it from a game rental shop.

My first VN would've been Da capo i think, love the story and characters, love the second one even more.

Clannad <3 first eroge was Wanko to Kurasou though.

Clannad was my very first VN.

Mine would be Ever 17 which is then followed by Private Nurse and Wanko to Kurasou and continue till now Daiteitoku as my latest one.

(Umm anyway some off topic question anyone ever played Bittersweet Fools VN?)

My first Visual Novel was Tsukihime, ah I still remember playing Akihas route and was like wtf how awesome is that...it's better than any anime :3

Mine was Yin Yang X-change alternative. Though I only manage to finish one, two paths.

Wanko to Kurasou

My very first eroge was Tsuki Possession. It gave me trauma lol.

I think my very very very first eroge was some Evangelion Strip Poker game. lol
VN was probably Do You Like Horny Bunnies.

My first VN was Wanko to Kurasou since i only found out about VNs after i found about Fakku and since the translation was just out i tried that one, then played Saya no Uta and Ever17.

Yume Miru Kusuri was the first one I played, liked it so much that it motivated me to play more VNs

First for me was "True Love", and "The Sagara Family". I played them Simutaneously.

Shuffle! Because I liked anime to that degree I had to download VN ;D

Same here except I obtained it from another source. I still play it since it's pretty good considering when it was made.

If it doesn't, then it's Yume Miru Kusuri.

So, my first eroge was "I'm Gonna Serve You 4". Just played because of the sex scenes because a friend of mine said that they were hot (that was like at least 5 years ago or more). I just skipped through the entire story and read the sex scenes for each character. It was boring like hell to me to skip it.

Then I started reading other eroges (obviously because of the sex scenes skipping the story). But little by little I began to read more and more the story. And then, when I readed all the nukiges that I had (yeah, I only readed them -.-) I tryed "Ever17". I still remember that I made a huge sacrifice just to read one route (it was Tsugumi's by the way) and was tremendously pissed because there wasn't not even one damn sex scene. I was even more pissed when I reached the bad end and the good end of Tsugumi's route. That made me quit the game for a while. When I restarted the game I finished the other routes (sacrificing myself once again) and when I finished Coco's route I was like "Fuckin epic! I'm really stupid for not reading this to the end before.". Ever17 made me open my eyes to the greatness of VNs. Since then, I enjoy them in a different way. I even replayed some nukiges just to read the story lol

This is my story. My only regret is to not have discovered sooner the way to fully enjoy VNs. And hey, my first eroge may be "I'm Gonna Serve You 4" but my first VN is "Ever17" :D

A rule of thumb I follow when it comes to reading VN in general. Enjoy the story and its plot. You might not even get a HCG till late in the game or none at all.
