I had stumbled onto the A-X series (izurumi) and was in love with it. So I tried to find any eng versions and there was this one site that was hosting the translated doujin off Fakku. Well, after a couple weeks I couldn't find it anymore, but I did remember the logo heading the pages: FAKKU! So a quick trip down google lane and vualla!

Adding something to FPoD's argument, from reliable sources I have learned that LAPD and National guard units that were sent to suppress the Rodney King Riots were instructed to empty their firearms of ammunition. That's right folks, they went in with bayonets (on their Garands) and unloaded pistols. Wow... Seems like some politicians were more concerned over the black vote than protecting the people.

So...if the police won't protect us in the clutch...who will?

Vigilante justice isn't nearly as bad as you make it sound. Methinks you took 'Law Abiding citizen' and 'Deathwish' a bit too seriously or something. It's very rare that you have someone get a gun and think "Du'oh, whell I'm going to go out and gun-me down some bad-guys." That's almost never the case. You don't have the angry father going after his daughter's rapist, you don't have people looking to kill the person that mugged them. And if you're using school shootings as a reference...well then TBH, fuck you.
And your wish to take guns away from people just so the few who do stupid shit...let's work on refining the screening process first. And besides, by that logic, we should also outlaw automobiles, kitchen utensils, construction supplies, and children.
People don't buy guns to feel righteous, plain and simple. where the heck do you get vigilantism?

Revenge is not why most people buy guns. It isn't justice in our own hands. It is defending oneself, one's familliars, and one's property from theft and/or harm. By far most of the time firearms are not even discharged, the presentation of force is enough to deter a would-be mugger/rapist/home-invader.

So if you don't trust the police...and you aren't willing to purchase a means to defend yourself/your loved-ones...d'you just get off from being vulnerable?

And that's really smart too; "Oh maybe when I'm faced with the armed intruder/thug gang, then I'll think guns are okay." ...... Expecting a gun shop to pop-up out of nowhere? And in a WROL (without rule of law) scenario...all the gun stores are going to be either closed or cleaned-out. Not leaving yourself with much option here man...

Yeah, if not wanting to make myself a doormat to criminals makes me a bad person in your eyes, then so be it. Just remember, there is alot of truth in the adage; "When seconds count, the police are minutes away."

Plus, Warren vs. DC ruled that police have no obligation to protect the public (let alone be actually accountable for their actions), merely to enforce the laws. So they have no obligation to interrupt a murder in progress, just to catch and jail the person who did the murdering after the fact.

There alone is reason enough to arm oneself.

The problem with idealism is that it is impractical. You, and people like my father dream of a world that's as fanciful and happily clean as the top of a Candyland board. It is perfectly fine to wish for such a society, but the problem is that people like you try and apply that vision to real life, current day situations. Until we can get the human race to behave more like the Flood from Halo, we will always have selfish people, sociopaths, and people who are either lazy or just don't give a damn, until humanity becomes...inhuman, your happyland scenario will not come to fruition.

What'd you expect? As from the Star War's Gangsta' Rap: "Bitches ain't nothin' but ho's and tricks." True words and oft applicable. I gotta be honest...I'm not that fond of Tae. Yes she's cute and apparantly unafraid to sexually service Kurono but...she look so damn young...TBH if it was me going out with her I'd feel like a pedophile.

Now the 'kung fu lady', I really like her. she looked like Angelino Jolie, had massive, perfect breasts, kicked-ass in melee combat like no other, and on top of that she let Kurono fuck her right there in the hallway not five minutes after meeting him!
