Ability to filter

That big wave of paid content probably only happened because a new book was released today. Normally there's only one or two books at the top of the list.

I believe Jacob has said there will be free content. Just no details on how we'll implement it yet.

Yeah but he said it will be limited so it wouldn't really require it's own section. I just don't see this sort of thing being worth the devs time

Definitely at first when we only have a few magazines available. However, the magazine library should have over 400 chapters towards the end of the year, and at that point we'll obviously have more options when it comes to free content. There could possibly be a use for filtering down the road, but like you pointed out, I believe there are other things that have a higher priority right now.

I assume that would work the best if there wasn't a rotating selection of free content.

The site is trying to move towards a legitimate publishing business that brings over content from Japan. They will be working directly with the artists to support their work it's a move that in the long run, if it works out, will be a great benefit to everyone. Yeah, it sucks that most free content will leave, but it will allow more content in general to come here from Japan with the magazines that Fakku are going to release.

I'm not sure if you're thinking that they take requests or something. If you buy a book, you'll get access to the Fakku Books forums where there's a recommendation thread for the next book you want Fakku to publish. Doesn't set anything in stone, but it's just for ideas I assume.
