About the Promotions of Fakku Books...from fan

A lot of times, Fakku is doing some promotions for their Fakku Books for us readers, sure is beneficial for us and the deals are quite good....
But, sadly, Jacob, why won't you keep promoting for the printed book versions?? you gave a lot of promotions (up to 50%) for the digital versions but none for the printed book versions??
You should at least give a measly 10% or until 30%(if you can 30% that would be great!) for those interested in the printed book version.....
Just a suggestion cause I always see the promotions, but only for the digital versions and I want to buy the printed book versions TT

I can think of two reasons, accurate if they are or not. One is that Fakku Books is still young. Only 2 or 3 books have actually been sent out yet. The other is supply and demand, demand is still outweighing the supply by quite a bit.

Five books. But here's another hypothetical maybe Jacob can't give half price for the digital because it cost him nothing and printing the books cost more. So to give a 50% discount or even a 30 percent discount would not be worth it because he's not making a profit. Remember Jacob still has to pay wani, artist and the translator, editor so forth.

In order to actually make it work this is what should be done. Make a random book view only as a sample. Remove any download links for it and leave it up for a bit to show people the content of what they can get. Even better idea would be to provide sample pages of all books. I'd never buy something without trying it first.

Generally speaking, you don't cut the price of physical goods unless you have a good deal when they were made and can justify the cut, or if you are trying to make room for new items by trying to push slow-movers. At least that's how we do it with retail warehouses. Can't imagine it's too different when selling physical goods online.

Actually the original plan was for the paperback to go on sale as well, but we're almost sold out of it! I didn't realize we were so low on inventory, and I want to make sure we have some for Bosshi to sign while we're hanging out with him.
In the future any sales like the one yesterday should include a discount on the paperback version. And we're already getting the 2nd edition of Peachy-Butt Girls printed.
