adding/deducting reputation points
Do you think the amount of post required should be raised?

The current requirement to add/deduct reputation points is 15 posts.
There are more people taking part in the forum nowadays and I think it should be raised to about 30 or 50.
15 isn't enough seniority to decide certain things. I mean, we have a lot of people who have at least 15 posts and are no longer active. There are also a bunch of cases where rep. points are being meddled with for no apparent reason (which brings me to another point regarding Jacob's idea*).
*Basically, he proposed that users are required to leave a comment when adding/deducting reputation points. This way, if someone deducts rep. points for a ridiculous excuse, we can act accordingly.
I want some opinion regarding both issues =/

well posts is a rough way to do it.. I would almost say do it off of rep points with a minimum of 5+ or whatever.
Because lord knows anyone can post but not everyone contributes =)

Lol, imagine everyone had 0 rep. No one could raise or drop rep cuz they had less than 5 rep... apocalyptic nightmare!

I like the comment idea. It will at least give the receiver an idea of why they were getting +/- unless the person giving the comment does something like "you suckz0rs, lolz."

Just instituting a policy that you have to comment won't do much. Jackasses would still be able to break the rule. Unless you can trace whoever changed points. Are you able to trace that?

I think he mean, what's stoping them from "Vote and Don't leave comments"
Well, unless you can block them from voting without commenting.? <.<;

I think it does needs to be change because the reputation system is going to be needed and used as a important system in future I assume so why not start now by raising the posts count.
