Additional paid content
2
I understand the difference between a Fakku subscription and additional paid content such as doujin, manga, games, etc...
But I'm feeling a bit disheartened (I guess for lack of a better term?) by the amount of additional paid content being released the last several months. I know it's just that - additional - but I can't help but feel like it diminishes the value of the standard subscription a bit as it seems like additional content is increasing substantially over time.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not so cheap that I feel a standard subscription should give me unlimited access to everything under the sun, but I guess I worry about the volume of additional content seemingly being so much higher than what a subscription offers. I'm sure if someone pointed out the actual math and statistics, I'm probably off base, but it still feels "odd", you know? There has been a trend of more paid chapters being released than those on subscription on more than just a couple of occasions, so I know I'm not totally imagining things.
I guess this isn't so much a standard complaint or me expecting any of this to change - more like an observation. I suppose I want some kind of assurance that I'm not going to end up having little-to-no new content I can expect a standard subscription.

The subscription content from FAKKU releases in a steady pace, roughly 3 chapters per day. The case is the same for non-subscription books published by FAKKU -- one book every two weeks. The other doujins and books you see are from 3rd party publishers such as Irodori Comics, 2D Market, Denpasoft, MediBang!, and Summer Salt.

But that has been several days in the past where we get more additional third party content than we do from the Unlimited Subscription.
Like I said, I'm sure someone could do the math, look at statistics and trends, and probably easily show me that I'm way off base. I'm only stating my observations and how I feel. I'm not trying to come off and insincere or greedy, just that sometimes it feels kinda crummy and makes you wonder what the value of the Unlimited Subscription is going to look like in the future. That's all.

You do realize under the current scheme of the subscription you're getting more for your buck. Let's just go by the avg amount of chapters in one magazine. I nice round number.
1 magazine is 10 to 15 chapters mangas. JP price is about 890 yen or more [x-eros 87 is 1180yen] so 8.50-12$
3x30 is 90 chapters so roughly 3 magazines not counting x-eros which is 19 chapters long in #87
So lets say 8x3 so 24$ if you paid for the magazine digital without translation. you're getting quite a deal for 3 magazines full of content at 12.95$
plus the occasional doujin bone and some oc content not in japan from the japanese artists and some western artists

I do realize.
I understand the value of what you get with an Unlimited Subscription is quite good compared to pretty much any similar avenue you can explore, which in of itself is very limited. I also understand the third-party content is a good avenue for business not just for Fakku, but also for the artists themselves.
I just feel like the type of content available on this website it shifting a bit. And yes, that's not necessarily a bad thing - the more third party support there is the more contracts and business opportunities that present itself for all parties involved. I just worry about a potential scenario where there is more third-party content than there is for the subscription content.
I suppose I am biased. I don't pretend to be a business man or understand the contracts between all parties involved. I just don't want to see a day where I'm expected to pay upwards of $5 for a majority of individual pieces of content on this website.

I can understand how you feel.
The point I'm trying to make is that, the phenomenon you are seeing is due to:
And the subscription content, FAKKU books and their ratio have not change in the past year.
Of course, it's the platform's responsibility to improve the user experience and find a better balance between business and advertisement, e.g. giving the user the option to see only subscription content on their home page. For now, this is only possible by visiting a different page:
